Haitian Occupation

This graph is about the Haitian Occupation. The United States had an interest in Haiti years before its occupation because of its availability as a naval base. Loans were given to Haiti to aid in their instability problem, and to lessening their foreign influence and competition for Haiti’s land. However, the debt was too large for Haiti to pay off, which resulted in France intervening.

Since I peer edited, I appreciate that you took out some of the blocky text. The colors look great still and I appreciate the images. However, I do with there were more number stats or something other than just timeline info depicted. I did learn about a short history of Haiti though.
