ILP Overview
Sophomores and Juniors spend one afternoon every week fulfilling their Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs). ILPs are whatever our students want them to be. They can be college classes, art projects, weekly workshops, and more. But they're usually Internships at local businesses or organizations.
Students are dismissed from school on Wednesdays at 12:50 PM. For 10th and 11th graders, this means they have each Wednesday afternoon free to fulfill their ILPs. Students will usually be able to arrive at their ILP placement by 1:30PM (allowing time for travel and lunch). Organizations may schedule their ILP time such that it works best for the students and for themselves. Students are required to spend 2-3 hours each week at their placement.
