How to say proper greetings en Spanish

Posted by Brycen Itzko in SP1-005 on

The first thing you need know before you can speak Spanish is how to say your greetings. You can’t just talk to someone in Spanish unless you know your greetings! This is why I wrote this topic. The first thing you need to know is how to say hello, and Good morning/afternoon/evening, in Spanish. Then, you will learn to say, “how are you?” to someone, and how to reply back. Lastly, you will learn how to say your goodbyes in Spanish.

If you clicked this link, then today you will be learning about the 7 days of the week in spanish. You might not know them very well, but you might need to know them if your first cousin's second cousin's sister comes back from mexico and you want to her her that you know the 7 days of the week in spanish, so she can be impressed with you. That's probably why you clicked this blog.

Anyways, heres a diagram showing the 7 days of the week in English y en español.

*NOTE*
See how the days of the week en español start with Monday not Sunday. Also, see how the first letters of each day en español are not capitalized. Or should I say the letters are miniscula.

If you still don't get the days, then use the flashcards below.
I hope this blog helped you in anyway possible.

Gracias for reading my blog.

Los Meses del Ano...... the months of the year

Posted by Gabrielle Arnold in SP1-005 on
Tired of always saying the months in english, only to get corrected by Señorita Manuel or your Spanish speaking friends?  Well I was too until i created a chart to better understand the names of the months. So create a chart, sing a little song, or make some flash cards on quizlet.  Whatever floats your boat will help you get better.

REMEMBER THEIR ARE NO CAPITALS IN SAYING THE SPANISH MONTH NAME. THAT IS ONLY FOR ENGLISH SILLY GOOSE!

watch our little video for our special song to memorize because we were studying!
