What did you learn from them? That the movie "3 metros sobre el cielo" was very popular amongst teens

What did you learn about yourself? That I should watch the movie "3 metros sobre el cielo" 

What were you surprised about? That my partner was able to give me a movie name instead of the type.
What are you proud of? Nothing
What will you improve on for next time? ​research movie types in spanish speaking countries.

What did you learn from them? That the discrimination really comes from the children for just being even a little different.

What did you learn about yourself? That I'm lucky in a way

What were you surprised about? That the discrimination is the same as in America
What are you proud of? Nothing
What will you improve on for next time? ​Being able to relate to my partner.

What did you learn from them? That when deciphering between sarcasm and not in spanish, I need to pay close attention to the details of whether he knows me or not and pay attention to his voice pitch and how ti changes.

What did you learn about yourself? That I'm pretty bad at detecting sarcasm in spanish and need to work on it.

What were you surprised about? That I'm bad at detecting sarcasm in spanish since normally i can easily find it in someone's voice in english. 
What are you proud of? I won't be horrible at it.

What will you improve on for next time? Learn to insult better.

What did you learn from them? That insults and them playing with you is very similar to the english version

What did you learn about yourself? That it will be easy to insult people in spanish
What were you surprised about? that its so similar to our version of insults

What are you proud of? I won't be horrible at it.

What will you improve on for next time? Learn to insult better.

What did you learn from them? That its best to start with a joke about politics.
What did you learn about yourself? That I would be horrible at telling jokes in spanish.
What were you surprised about? That you would jokes about politics first and not the person's friends.
What are you proud of? That I would be horrible at telling jokes in spanish.
What will you improve on for next time? I will study about jokes more before asking the question so I'm not surprised about what their answer is.

      • What did you learn from them? The different you would congruent the way of saying things. 

      • What did you learn about yourself?

  • What were you surprised about? I was surprised how nice he was, and how he took his time telling me all the little things, step by step.

  • What are you proud of? I'm proud that I was able to find someone who is willing to help and understood what they wee teaching me.

  • What will you improve on for next time?  Timing, I wish I knew like everything to say the way I wanted to say them In Spanish also he helped me understand it and I helped him understood English.

​for this blog post my partner and i helped each other , he helped me with spanish and i helped him with english. we talked about out home town and how its like being there. He was able to help me with some verbs problem and i did the some for him also. my partner name is Carlos saul and  it was nice talking to him. :)
