The End

Posted by Taylor Valentine in STORY-002 on
As I move towards the next chapter in my life, I can't help but sing these lyrics in my head:

"And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're going through

Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes!"

Prom Wonderful Presents: A Most Lovely Evening,

Posted by Christine Walden in STORY-002 on
Prom,

   You were wonderful.

         from,
             Christine

Cameras,

You are cruel, unflattering, and should not be made available to certain segments of the population for so small a price.

         from,
             Christine

Friends and Companions,

I do not deserve any of you. Thank you dears. By the by, you are a handsome bunch.

I HATE MOSQUITOS!

Posted by Taylor Valentine in STORY-002 on
Today is prom.  I've spent the entire week meticulously inspecting my face for any blemishes.  This morning I awoke to a clear face and thanked the acne gods for their help. My prom pictures would be perfect!

While driving home from the supermarket this afternoon (we needed snacks for pre-prom), my mom looked at my profile.

"What's on the side of your face, honey?"
"Seriously, Mom, it's not funny. Stop."

I pulled down the sun visor and looked in horror at my reflection.  Just above my eyebrow was a mosquito bite, red and swollen.  I guess I didn't do enough praying the the bug gods...

Saboteur! Saboteur!

Posted by Christine Walden in STORY-002 on
Why can't I let myself succeed?
I do not know.
Will continually questioning myself in this fashion result in identity confusion that will eventually lead to the formation of a split personality?
Perhaps but maybe my new personality will have some answers.

may 19. birthday

Posted by Andrew Smith in STORY-002 on

Today, is my birthday

Everyone celebrates except for me

Days pass, and go away

Am I the only one to see

I’m getting older by the day

Before I know it, my hair will go grey

But one thing will always be the same

Other then me being really lame

Age can’t stop who we are

or all the miles, we came so far

Age, is just a number in a book

A book, that someone already took

And all the pages, taken away

The only ones left say

We met, we loved, we live on

Past the front lawn

Past these simple lives

Today is my birthday

Everyone celebrates except for me

Days pass, and go away

But I’ll remember what you say

Past these simple lives

My birthdays today
