Behind

Posted by Lenea Harris in STORY-002 on
I feel like I'm 80 years behind on these things. I don't even have enough to write about. I'm about to post pictures from prom weekend and that'll be the end of it. I apologize now for the following blog feed.

Prohibited

Posted by Taylor Valentine in STORY-002 on
I didn't tell a story today for our last story slam because, in all honesty, I didn't have one. I was always the ideal child, never getting into trouble or doing things that I knew I shouldn't.  In fact, my parents never prohibited me from things because I didn't do them in the first place!  I'm slowly getting over this goody-two-shoes attitude, just in time to go to college, where my parents have no real say anyway.

Kind of happy

Posted by John DeSalis in STORY-002 on
Happy that we have a few days off from school, but instead of going down the shore with my friends, i have to be stuck working over a 450ยบ grill for 10 hours a night for 3nights... But its a good thing, because while my friends are blowing all the money they tried to save, I'm probably going to make back in 1 and a half hours what they spend in 3 hours.
And having the money is possibly the main reason keeping me at this job.

Blow A Kiss Goodbye

Posted by Jennifer Albright in STORY-002 on
I struggled through a death, a viewing, a funeral
Whilst being the hand that others gripped,
But didn't have your hand to hold as hot tears fell from my eyes
And sobs ripped so thoroughly through my throat that I could barely speak.
I didn't have your strong arms to protect me from violent shaking
Or your soft lips to kiss away the hammering in my head.
I was one to be had, but had no one, not even you.
