WHA CHA!

I took a test in math the other day, thinking it would raise my grade which was at a 59 to a D. But it actually turned it into a 57... which stinks. But I am still working really hard, and I didn't even have a mental breakdown or yell at Mr. Latimer and have to apologize later on, I just am continuing to plow through all my work. I just did a ton of papers that I messed up on before to understand where I went wrong. I have a big math benchmark due this Friday and I'm very nervous about that... We'll see how it goes.

Monday Movie

Posted by Ralen Robinson in STORY-001 on
Since my woirkload is extremely low I decided to treat myself to a movie off ONDemand.
The Fighter is an extremely good movie although it has some bad reviews I liked it. Christian Bale plays a phenomenal crack head like his performance is so legit.

My internet connection doesn't work at our house, so I couldn't post any stories over the weekend. I also couldn't watch any tv, go online, or do any of my hw (which is a blessing in disguise). Rainy days make me drowsy. I am drowsy right now. I want to go home but not really because my internet is not working. My mom and I are house/dog sitting for some people. They have a really nice house and they have cable. I love cable. I don't have cable tv at my house. i don't even get basic channels like WHYY or CBS. It sucks, but I manage. I want to go to the person's house were dog/house sitting for and lay on there big comfy couch and watch tv by their fire place. It's a perfect day for that.

Home

For the past 4 days I felt like I've been living on my own.  My mom now works night shifts so when I come home there is nobody there, and for the past four days I've been coming home to an empty house. It's kind of awesome. I'm not lonely because I'm always so tired when I come home so I just sleep. Anyways, I feel like the house belongs to me. In a way it's like a prep for college. I like it and am excited to live in a dorm. On Thursday and Friday I didn't see my mom because she worked night shifts, and on Saturday I worked all day and my mom stayed at our friends house to dog sit so I didn't see her then either, and yesterday I worked all day as well and my mom was out rock climbing. I came home briefly for about an hour and then left to go out with my friends, so I didn't see her then as well.

Trust me

Posted by Arthurline Bowen in STORY-001 on

I remember when I was younger I could do almost everything I mean from riding my bike to climbing trees and so forth. My sister Nat is four years older than me and she’s a punk. I learn how to ride my bike before she did and roller skate before she did. So one summer my sister and I was playing outside with our friends and of course my friends and I were showing off our skating skills while my sister and my other friends was watching us. Than suddenly I had an idea I told my friends that we should go up the hill and skate down because it would be fun. And some how I manage to talk my sister into doing the same. She was hesitant at first and you know I told her “trust me you’ll be ok and its fun.” So she agreed and came up the hill, next thing you know she’s rolling down the hill screaming, “HELP ME, HELP ME.” By the time we could help her she was all bruised up. Lol that was one of the last time she ever listen to me again.

Rain

Rain sucks.  Really bad.  Waking up on a monday morning is already a challenging task.  But rain on top of that?  That's a real low blow, mother nature.
