Antoinette's Quater 2 Drawings
For quarter two, I decided you have my pictures set around "pencil" drawings. I decided to do this because adding color to a picture automatically brings life to the drawing but I wanted to bring life to the drawing with out color. I wanted to see if I had the ability to still set the standards of "eye catching" drawings with pencil. I thought I did a fairly good on this quarter.
On the final drawing, I found a picture of a flower in a cup. I thought this was a really beautiful picture and decided to draw it as the artist that I wanted to write on but when it came down to finding the artist behind the picture, it came up as unknown. So I put both the original and my version of the drawing up. The artist's name on the picture is named V.G. Phelps, but again, there is not information on him.

Camille
Pissarro was born on July 10, 1830, on the island of St.Thomas. Relocating to Paris as a young man, Pissarro began
experimenting with art, eventually helping to shape the Impressionist movement
with friends including Claude Monet and Edgar Degas.
Most
knowingly famous for his drawing of landscapes, he found this to be the most
interesting because he began to understand and appreciate nature for what it
was. After a year in Paris, he began to leave the city
and paint scenes in the countryside to capture the daily reality of village
life. He found the French countryside to be "picturesque," and an
amazing view that was worth painting. It was still mostly agricultural and
sometimes called the "golden age of the peasantry. Though, painting
landscapes was one of his most enjoyable portraits.
As he got older and he began to reach the age where he was unable to do what he used to do. He cut his drawing time to only drawing landscapes during nice weather. He also began to teach his son how to draw and his son described him as a “splendid teacher”. Along with Camille beginning a talented painter, the rest of his family and the generations that came after him too picked up his talent as well.
The 2 characters I decided to chose were Simba from "The Lion King" and Chris Griffin from "Famliy Guy". I showed detail of step by step on how to draw them in pencil, sharpie and in color pencil.
Everything in my collage is a representation of me and my life. I love to hang with my friends and just have a good time. I like to make life worth something and not necessarily making everything so serious, yet understanding when to be serious. I love to play and watch basketball. I have been playing ever since the 7th grade and don't have no intentions on stoping anytime soon. I like to keep my faith balanced and pretty personal. Lastly, I love food. I of course love it for the taste but also, when I'm around food, it usually comes along with family. Spending time with family is very important to me and being around them brings enjoyment to me.
