Q2 art- Estefan Carrillo
In the second quarter we worked on the Fibonacci sequence and negative space. I thought that it was really cool that the Fibonacci sequence is our everyday lives and most of the time we don't even notice it. For my collage I cut out parts of the body and sport items because our joints twist and turn in so many ways that our body can look like the sequence. I created a diamond with 2 fern leafs next to it for my block print because I thought it was a nice contrast and some people don't know that diamonds are excavated and cut to look like they do in jewelry stores.
