My home network starts with internet coming into my home through our ISP, which is Xfinity. The internet comes in through coaxil cables into the modem-router. Through the WIFI, my PC, laptop, phone, ipad, TV, and home phone are connected. What I learned that was new to me was how all of these parts work together to create a functioning home system. To people with a home network, I would definitely recommend getting to know how it works. You don't have to know the specific implications of everything, because that's what technicians are for. I would just say to take a look at how each of the pieces work because it's useful information so when people ask you, you don't just stand there drooling!
