I know what it feels like to be a teacher now

Mr. Kay was absent from his freshman drama class today. And instead of making it a free period for them I decided to make a productive and fun day. I actually taught the class and they actually listened. They finished their scenes and played an improv game or did work they had to do. It was unexpected of me to walk in there today and actually have to "play" the role of a teacher. But it was fun and it was productive and they didn't walk all over me. I feel accomplished.
