Q3 Art Reflection-Isaiah C.
The art drawing that I did for the past two weeks was a major project that I worked on a lot. I had to choose a wall in art class and I had to draw the windows, doors, walls, and tables that surrounds that wall. We had to draw the objects in a one point perspective. I felt like I accurately drew the major objects in the classroom that would make the picture feel real due to its three dimensional drawing.
The drawing had a lot of requirements and we only had a handful of class periods to get it done. If I could change something about it, I would have more time to get the project started, because most of the lesson plans ran into our project time. After starting up earlier, I would have more free time to get it done. If I got more done, I would've added details, colors, and more objects.
Another drawing I adored was Kate's. She had the major requirements and good details. The one point perspective made it feel like I could walk into the drawing and I would be in the room. From her dark clean lines, to the fine use of space in the picture, her picture displayed confidence and success. Her drawing in successful because she took time and effort to complete her drawing without cutting corners or doing some sketches last minute.
One point perspective forced me to look at drawings, paintings, and sketches in a different way. One point perspective makes drawings point and come from a certain direction, making objects appear bigger or smaller depending on where they are in the picture. One point perspective makes drawing look more challenging to create, but it also makes drawings look more realistic because there are methods to making drawings in a one point perspective.
