Quarter 3 Benchmark Reflection

This project relates to the real world in several ways. I say that because there are many occupations and careers that require you to do things such as measure buildings and craft blueprints. For example, if you wanted to be an architect, you have to go out and measure certain areas. This benchmark will help students who want to do this in their life. Not only that, but people who plan on renovating or buying something for whatever, they have to know how much they need of something or how tall something is.
In my opinion, there was no exciting part to this project. Throughout this entire project, I became sick due to the weather that was outside. Every time we went out I would come back sick. That annoyed me very much, but I had to do what I had to do. The least exciting part was going outside and getting the wrong measurements. Plus, I had to deal with breaking the tape measure. It made my life very difficult. I somewhat found it fun though to look on google maps and to reassure myself that my measurements were correct. That was kind of fun to not get down due to messing up the first time.

From this project, I learned a lot of information and different ways to measure and analyze measurements. I learned how to use the mirror method and the stick method. This made my life a lot easier, although I found that the counting method was most accurate. I also learned patience and discipline. I had to wait to get certain things done so that my measurements would be accurate.
