The War On Drugs: Effective?

For my Rethinking History Project, I decided to do Drug Criminilization and the War on Drugs. The War on Drugs is represented to be something effective that will stop drugs from being sold, used, or transported and keep the children/youth and streets safe. It is also represented as something that really works and takes all of the criminals off the streets. In all actuality, the War on Drugs has more of a negative impact than a positive one. The viewer of this documentary style video should see that the War on Drugs may have some positives, but it is not always good and the gray area behind it is not always put to light. People should not completely side with the War on Drugs being bad, because it does have its positives to it.
