Q2 Notebook

Posted by Amelia Radziszewska in English 1 · Giknis · A Band on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 8:09 pm

My notebook was a helpful tool over the course of the 2nd quarter because I really focused on what quality over quantity meant. I took notes of what I thought would be useful to me in the future rather than putting everything in my notebook. In the future, I plan on continuing to use this method because I have found that it works well for me.

I created a snowflake with my desmos graph. I plotted the points and through trial and error i ended up with my ending product. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rZo2lNGcJpO0sj4lbWkV4RwquG2QwVP3t9-4G3NKtQI/edit

Notebook Quarter 1

My notebook helped me play a big role in learning about various things such as storytelling elements and helping me understand other things. While I didn’t start off the year using these note-taking tools, I slowly became more open to them and I started to use them more often. I feel that I could do a better job highlighting essential details in my notebook and that I could highly improve on class discussion notes as this year has been my first year trying them. Finding The Puzzle Piece

In my story, I decided to incorporate the essential questions by explaining what it feels like to feel alone in the world until you actually find the one person you consider your home (in this case, your twin). “Far From The Tree” inspired this story because while reading it, I saw how meeting each other largely impacted the sibling’s characters, so I decided to incorporate that into my own story.
