To kindle or not to kindle

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:06 pm
I think it's sad, that I have accepted the fact I won't read many books unless I get a Kindle.
Only because I know I won't carry a big book around to read out of enjoyment. I love reading, I just don't want to have to carry the book around. I think it might be time for me to join team Kindle. I feel okay with this, as long as I don't join team ipad.

Time will never run out

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 12:02 am
I'll love you till time runs out.
I'm not a fan of forever, so I'll love you till time runs out is my way of saying I'll love you forever. Time will never run out, no matter what happens. Life keeps going, clocks keep ticking.

I always want to nap.
My body just never tells me when it's been rested enough.
I just want to take a day long nap.
Why can't I?

I have a superman complex that the people I love seem to intensify daily. I just can't help, but want to protect them.

Thu.

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 10:49 am
This morning was rough.
I have 3 classes today.
I missed two.
I am surprisingly not happy at all about this.
There's no point in being here for one class.

Toy Story

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 9:53 pm

Nazier has a  new favorite.

It's toy story, everything toy story he loves.

Ever since the first time watching Toy Story 3. He just fell in love.

I have the 1st & 2nd Toy Story movies on my laptop.

So when he comes over, he asks me if I'm busy.

Then he asks me to put on Toy Story for him.

It's the cutest thing, because he sets himself up on my bed with all of his toys & acts the movie out as he watches it.

As soon as the first one ends he runs & and finds me so that I can start the second one.

Some days he does this & we end up taking a nap together.

Other days ropes me in & tells me my role I must act then we act out the parts of the movie he remembers.

I'm hoping, he never out grows this. I know he will at some point, but hopefully no time soon.

Pneumonia

Posted by Dylan Arroyo on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 6:22 pm
So today was my first day back at SLA, and it was quite an interesting welcome back. I currently have an pneumonia, and I had to tell everyone this when they ask why I haven't been in. The reactions I got people vary as I told them when I was out. There was the cautious ones that said " I miss you and I hope you get better from a far." Then there's the others who gave me a hug and wish me a speedy recovery. I don't know what I expected. It went quite well though. I really wish to  get better soon, this ammonia thing is no joke. I just want to be healtjy again.

If I had known

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 9:36 pm
Today I return to school after being out for a while. My mother & I had a deadline to find a place. So last week we were stressing out trying to find a place. No worries. A place has been found. That's not the story I was going to tell though, today was Story Slam day in Chase's story telling course. I had completely forgotten about it. First of all I walked into class slightly late. Lucky for me they hadn't begun the slam so I didn't interrupt any one's story or anything of that nature. When I walked in Chase said "Hello" & I took a seat in one of the open chairs near Kelly. I took a second to observe the room and listen to what Chase was telling the class. I quickly remember what the date was, it was Tue. Story Slam is always on Tue. Ironically the theme was " if I had known then". I was a nervous wreck most of the slam hoping that I wasn't chosen, because I had no story to tell. Boy I tell you " if I had known then" well before then that I should of had one prepared I would of been far more relaxed.

Later is better.

Posted by Dylan Arroyo in Storytelling - Chase on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2:50 am
For some people conversations just never  end.

D: Okay. Enjoy yourself.

K: I'll try to.

D: Good. :). Bye.

K: Don't say Bye.

D: Why?

K: It's final.

D: I'm sorry. Didn't mean for it to be final in any way. Talk to you later?

K: Yes, later.

I guess you can say, we are two of those people.
