Art Work For Q2
For the first art piece, I chose to do Art History.
I. Art History: Romero Britto
I chose Romero Britto. Romero Britto is a Brazilian-American neon pop artist, painter, and sculptor. His paintings are very creative, simple, yet complex. He does very colorful paintings of single objects but with different designs and little details that make every painting unique. His paintings combine different elements such as cubism, pop art, and graffiti.
He was born in Brazil and moved to Miami in 1989. Shortly after moving here, he was asked by Michel Roux (founder of Absolut Vodka’s Art Campaign) to reinterpret Vodka’s famous bottle. His painting was so good, it was published and seen by millions. He has his own main art gallery at Souch Beach, Miami.
He has completed works for Movado, Disney, Enrico Coveri, Pepsi, the United Nations, BMW and Royal Caribbean Cruises among others.
