But This Wasn't Goodbye: It Was the Hello that was Depressing

She said, "I cried for so long" and my heart dropped. We had said our pitiful goodbye about 3 hours ago, and she was well on her way to New York City. I didn't think she would really cry, but I guess I underestimated her sensitivity. The thing is, this is good bye. Our hug and good bye only meant good bye for a few minutes. Of course once she was in the car, and I had opened my laptop we would be on ichat carrying on our convo. But saying good bye to side by side meant saying hello to states apart, and that was what lead her to tears.
