De'Lesha's Art Work

This quarter in art class our teacher decided to have us create something new every week. It was very unusual because we never did things this way, so it was hard. We had to complete 7 drawings and an artist statement. Doing this assignment was one of the hardest in my opinion that we have ever had to do in this class, because we had a time limit for each drawing we had. There was dealing with the feeling of will i finish in time and also is my art presentable. I thought this was interesting and kind of a good thing. A good thing because it really brought out the art in the class and me and I didn't expect that at all, interesting because it showed how much faith our teacher had in us and our abilities. Some of the drawings I created I thought could've been better but that's the life of an artist.
At the very end, the last three photos are ones that to me represented spring. This was the one additional assignment that was created last minute. I decided to do this because it seemed as though it was more for me and more of my character.
