Elijah Afrifa Capstone

For my capstone, I created a football sled design that can be made for the Benjamin Franklin football team. Throughout this entire transition from the 22nd location to the green st location, there has been tension. 2020 seniors haven't had the best year especially SLA and Benjamin Franklin Highschool. In the fall, I was able to play football, something that SLA never had. As I joined the team I started to make new friendships and enjoy my time, but the district funds some schools in equipment. Since I am in an engineering class, I thought that I could create something that could help the team without them having to spend money. SLA is pretty privileged and in those regards, and I thought that it would be a great community builder between the two schools.
