Home Network, Seng
1. My internet is connected to my modem through my ether-net cable (with my ISP Verizon Fios) which is connected to my router. All the devices that are connected to my internet connection are: three laptops, three smartphones, one printer, one cable box, and one Roku device. These are all connected wireless.
2. I have learned that many things connect to one another. I realized that I took my home network for granted because of how easily I can search a question and in a second I will get an answer. Now that I have learned about this, I understand the hard working process for us to be able to have this fast connection. An "OMG" moment that I had is how much my internet connection costs because I did not think it would be that expensive.
3. If people needed to know about having an ISP/Home Network, I would tell them to be aware of all of the devices that are on the network. Also, to pay attention to the price and choose a good ISP carrier. The last thing I would tell them is when they have a problem and get help from someone, to understand what the person is fixing. This is believe they could tell you that you have to pay $500 for a repair that only costs $5.
