Negative Space

Negative space is the space around and between the objects.

In my drawing, I found my negative space by taking a look around the object and picture how it would look like with the negative space cut out. Therefore, I use my imagination to figure my negative space for both cut and stool drawing. 

It helps an artist to see negative space because it creates a contrast of the image for the artist.

Yes, negative space enhance drawing because it gave me a good look of what the image is suppose to look like.
