Sidney Williamson & Jasmine Hussain Artist Statement

Artist Statement: Physics and art together can produce something that is simple and eye catching. For our project we are making the letters “SLA” light up on a plastic backpack to show our school spirit. We are using the SLA theme colors blue and white with a pop of red for the heart to represent the attachment we have towards our school.

This is a useful product because it can be used outside of class as well. I liked that the lights were incorporated into a book-bag because it is totally wearable, not jut a display of art.
