Simone Cruice-Barnett Capstone

My capstone is a live radio show that discusses how we use music to curate and soundtrack our own stories. With each episode centered around a different theme, I hoped to not only give young people a platform to tell their stories and share their passions, but also to open a dialogue about how music shapes our world and us as individuals. My capstone was largely contingent on the new building and dig vid's studio space, but because of the construction setbacks and school closings, I was never able to fully realize my project. However, with the research and preparation I did for this show, I was still able to learn a lot of radio production.
