After reading your piece I have feelings if amusement and pity for you. To me the theme of your novel is never get to ahead of yourself and don't get lost in the moment. If you had been mindful of your sunscreen you could have applies it again. I really liked all the vivid descriptive words in your piece. You did a great job describing and painting a picture for the reader.
At the end I was thinking about how simple and yet symbolic the story was. I think the big understanding here that when it comes to making decisions about things that will significantly affect you in life, you really do have to think long-term and be conscious.
As said before I really enjoyed how simple the story was, yet the message could be applied to many situations in any person's life and I especially liked her use of the word "exacerbated".
