The video was not at all times engaging, as there were a few distracting errors. The horizontal camera angle was strange and fairly distracting. The audio could have used some balancing at certain times. However, it was interesting to see all four people on camera discussing the ideas, and the scene at the end with CJ was funny.

The analysis was good in places, however it didn't feel like there was enough of it. The analysis made sense, and there was some approaches that were unexpected and intriguing. Although it could have used a little more of it, and while it did go past the surface levels, there were some parts that could have gone deeper. Overall, it wasn't bad, but there was nothing that stood out.

The video had a lot of un-cut shots that led to less audio jumps, but many of the pauses in speech caused me as a viewer to zone out. The issue of much of the footage being rotated was also very distracting, as well as the less than optimal quality. On the other hand, the topic was rather interesting, and the analysis was somewhat interesting. It wasn't very in-depth, considering that most of what can be pulled from the situation is easy to see without deep analysis, but what you had was up to stuff. There was nothing that stood out.

First off, great job CJ. However, there were a few whoopsies with this project. The intro's camera angling was unconventional, and I get that you were trying to make a statement about the absurdity of beauty standards, and the fuzzy audio was a critique on the racist beliefs of James Charles, and the lack of colored representation - literally white noise. However, these artistic decisions took away from the clarity of your analysis, and made it hard to follow what you were saying, although this itself may have been an intentional effort to strip the piece of all meaning. This was engaging, although I felt simultaneously lost and scared. I can't speak on your analysis, since I literally didn't understand what you were saying. Good work! There was nothing that stood out.

Was the video engaging? Why or why not? I think the aspect of the interview was very unique and engaging. I think it was interesting to hear outside perspectives of what you were talking about and then your opinions on it.

Was the analysis sophisticated? How did it go beyond the basis, or not? I think the comparison that you guys did between James Charles and Soulja boy was really useful to compare the racial and economic affects that come into play when it comes to how people in the spotlight are perceived/how their actions are viewed by the public. But I also think it could have been tied in a little better, or a better example could have been chosen.

The video was not horizontal all of the time and had poor quality. I think that there was too much time spent on the guy answering questions. Not sure what direction the video is going. Audio is poor. Is this about men wearing makeup or racism? The video was not engaging and had a lot of errors and edits that needed to be made. The camera was shaky at times. There wasn't that much analysis and it is hard to even say if it goes beyond my bias because I don't even know what the video was about. It went into different directions from my perspective. There was nothing that stood out.
