Internet Censorship
- Why did you choose this topic?
I picked this topic because I felt like I was greatly affected by it. My school lives on the internet and if everything is blocked, most of my projects would never have gotten done.
- What did you like about this project? What was most challenging?
Something I liked about this project was that it help me show how I felt about something that was having an impact on me and my classmates. The most challenging about it was putting the info into a video with making it seem like a documentary.
- Describe the most interesting fact or event that you investigated.
The most interesting fact was that most of congress was with the plan of SOPA, but President Obama was against it.
- How could this project be improved?
I would make it more of a PodCast so that I can do more talking.
- Where did you run into trouble with the project?
Trying to find a way to put all our info into the video.
- What went well with this project?
It was really easy to find info, because the problem was going on as we worked on our project.
- If you had it to do over, what would you change about your decisions or your process?
Do more on putting the project together then searching for info that was right in front of my face.
- What did you learn?
That using things such as music, videos that are not original can be you into trouble.

BlogPost #4 Petition
Since I’m lobbying The Curfew Act in Philly, I thought it
would be good to start a petition for big names in the city to sign that are
against the Curfew Act. I felt as though if I could find enough city initials to
agree with me, one of the teens that are affected by it. The way I’m getting my petition out is thru social networking
such as Twitter, and Facebook. That is one of the easiest ways for more people
to get involved.

In order to become a teacher you have to go to college, then get certified as a teacher by the state.
The paper work was really straightforward once we found it!
I wouldn’t make you have to become a student teacher before becoming a real one.
So that when you become a teacher you will know what you doing.
Curfew Act
I made the decision of telling the story of the curfew act in Philly, was because i was directly affected by it. Being a kids who spends most his time in Center City Philadelphia having to go home at 10 really made me upset, knowing that I have to suffer for things i had no part of. I choose keynote for most of my presentations because out of all the other ways of presentation I am most comfortable with KeyNote. Having to find a way to put the information I had together was one thing that was hard for me. If i would have to do this project again i would probably use a Prezi because Prezi is one of the best way to present info like this, but I don't know how to use it. The process was harder because finding the actual bill was hard so at first i was telling the history without seeing the bill.

The dish that I made at home we eat only on holidays or special event. This dish is not original to my family but has become a family tradition. About five years ago as a family we all noticed that our traditional holiday was not a slight chance of being healthy. So for a change we all had to look up a dish to add to the traditional turkey. The green bean casserole was the dish that everybody had the most doubts, the only dish that stuck around.
During this unit I learned so much about the life and process of fracking and animals. Going into this unit I had no understanding with what was going on with animals before they reached my dinner plate. This unit showed me what animals go through and how unhealthy that they can be.

Election Day 2011
Donald Romaro
Me- So ser what motivates you to come out and vote today?
Donald- It’s just something I like to do. So that I know that I took part in something so important.
Me- Okay, What do you hope to see change in your neighborhood?
Donald- I just hope to see older people getting more involved, so that the crime rate goes down.
Me- But don’t you think that has a lot to with the cops and the way they play their part in keeping the community safe?
Donald- Yes but its not their fault that these kids are running around getting into all types of trouble. Their parents should have raised them better.
Me- Thank ser hope you see the change around her.
Lobbying Project #2
The person who represents me is Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown. Who has been about of the Philadelphia youth for along time. She has programs that work with energy conservation, and energy matters.
How has my legislator voted on my issue in the past? There wasn't really an issue on my topic in the past due to the recent act of violence ( Flash Mobs) in the city.
What do you and your representative have in common?
We are both against violence, but we both are in to helping others and good education.
Lobbying Post #1
2. Elaborate on your motivation for investigating and influencing public policy? I am a young man in philadelphia, when I'm not in school that like to get out at night and have fun. Which i can't because I got to be in the house at a time where the fun start.
3. Who are the main supporters of your lobbying idea? Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown
4. Who are the main opponents of your lobbying idea? Philadelphia Youth
5. Is there any pending legislation dealing with your lobbying idea? Explain. If there is not, what would you like to see proposed. Elaborate. I would like to see them proposed some way of going to where the problem is like the old days and stop picking on all the youth they see.
6. Any other information regarding the background for your topic. This is only happening in philadelphia and i don think its right!
What if? Urban Music QWhite
· What did you like about
this project? What was most challenging?
One thing I like about this
project is that it showed everybody true creativity. Giving us a project where
we could have changed a part of history of our choice was truly amazing. The most challenging part was creating
points of diversion. I had to go into point of different point of people life
and change the outcome. It was hard to
change something that had a big on peoples lives.
· Describe the most
interesting fact or event that you investigated.
Rapper
Little Wayne when he was only 12 years of age shot him self in the chest with a
9 mm gun owned by his stepfather. He hit his chest only 2inches away from his
heart. I didn’t know that about him until reading biography .
· How do the actions of individuals impact the historical
record?
Action
of individuals have a big impact on historical record depending on who you are.
If you somebody important people are going t care what’s going with you.
· How do systemic changes impact the historical record?
Same
way as any other change If people care about whats changing it would have a
impact on them but it means nothing if people don’t care.
· How influential can one decision be in the historical
landscape?
A
lot because lets say look at the oil spill if the person who owned the company had reacted when he
first saw the oil spill then when it got big, what would have happen there no
would been as much damage.
· How could this project be improved?
If
I could have been there at my points of deversion to actually see what happen
and then change the outcome it would have been so much more detailed.
· If you had it to do over, what would you change about your
process for the project?
Do something that had nothing to do with somebody creativity, because if one person didn’t do it for sure somebody might have came up with it afterwards.
