@kparker For the most, coding and fresher applications make for the more advanced graphics you see on the big screen. And for the second question, drawing things by hand or claymation (if it was a cartoon). For the more human stuff, colored backgrounds and fake props were more of a common occurence.

How did the use of green screen evolve? Because I heard that they use blue screen now, not green screen.
