Link to my project

I found this project to be very easy. All my pictures just appeared to me. I didnt have to look for them or nothing. Such as my favorite picture. A boat from Hong Kong named St. gabriel. I was leaving a dock when i took the picture and i talking to a bunch of guys about the boat so as i was leaving i remembered that i needed pictures for my history project so i knew i could use this picture. The picture came out really nice, and this was the first one i took so i felt really attached to this one. All the other pictures i took just appeared or i already had on my other phone such as the crow eating the body picture. As for globalization in Philly, i feel that there is way more than i thought there was initially, but i still think a place like New York has more globalization in it. The simple fact that they are more popular, which brings tourists and people all over to liver there and also way more advertisement going on there.

MY FAVORITE BENCHMARK WAS:

Posted by Anthony Seeley in Statistics - Thompson on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 3:04 pm
If I were to choice one of the four benchmark we did is stats the one that I would probably have to choose is the one we just did. This Benchmark showed all the different parts of the different things in statistics. I took a lot of time for me to make. It took like 16 hours to make the 42-slide presentation and another hour and a half for the entire math. Overall though I felt really proud of the final project. I struggled on the regression lines. I completely forgot what a regression line was but after 30 minutes of researching and some questions I made a nice detailed description of what a regression line was, explaining each step and what each equation is used for. The other part I liked was the Chi-Squared problem. I showed how to do it completely step by step, explaining what degrees of freedom were and how to decide which degree you should look under. To use SLA core values, I had other students look at my presentation to see what they learned or even while they were doing their presentation I showed them my presentation to teach them how to do each things. I taught Emma how to do regression lines with my presentation. I researched how to do different topics that I could not remember how to do, and also to see which math course I would take in CCP. This project just showed what I know in statistics, and even though I do not always do my Homework I do actually know how to do all the work which made me very proud to get an 89 on this benchmark.

A day in the life (Jordan)

A day in Jordan

THIS IS A WORST CASE SCENARIO

My life and there life is quite different. I don't have to worry about having to worry about having to struggle for getting my food or even being able to go to school each day. I have always been able to attend school and some of these kids don't have that privilege. It would bother me that i had to go out every day as a kid working extremely hard to get food, and than coming home and having to cook or eat a meal with what ever i could find. Plus they are always being checked for diseases so that would affect me to always thinking i could potentially have a disease of some sort.

Anthony Seeley's Fiji Zambia project :D

Posted by Anthony Seeley in Globalization - Laufenberg on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 11:57 am
Fiji and Zambia collapsibility

The two countries I chose were Fiji and Zambia. Fiji is in Oceania, a very beautiful area were a lot of people tend to go on vacation at. Clear waters and very little environmental issues, Fiji overall is a place most people would dream of. Than Zambia, in Sub Saharan Africa suffers from dry season over occurring burn fires and many environmental issues. Zambia has issues with its neighbors and there are some issues going on inside of Zambia it self.

I knew how I wanted to present the information; I didn’t want anything too extravagant, I just wanted a simple display of the information reason behind the ratings that I gave each place. I just needed to know the information that I was presenting, which is moderately easy. I typed in what I wanted to find and the answers seemed to just be there for me so I just needed to put this information into my own words.

Although I didn’t want the most exciting project in the world, after I was done I thought that I could have put all this info into imovie and made a simple movie but other than that im pretty happy with my project.
