  • a. What do you feel like you accomplished with your final drawing?  (keeping the rubric in mind. 20pts. - back wall, 20pts. side wall, 20pts. ceiling, 20pts. floor, 20pts. table/chair = 100pts.

I feel like I have accomplished with your final drawing a lot of new art skills when I was drawing. The art skills that I accomplished are learning how to draw from a person’s vision point perspective. Overall, I think that I should get a low B because I tried on the windows and wall but I did not have enough time I think could have been a little better.

  • b. What would you change or differently if you could do this project again?

If I had to change or do something differently or if I could do this project again I  would take the project home and work on it there so I could have time to do it I hopefully finish it correctly.

  • c. Find a drawing on the wall that you think is successful. Describe it. Why is it successful?

I think that Ryan’s drawing is successful it has everything that is required and for extra he even colored it in.

  • d. What did you learn about one point perspective?

I learned alot about one point perspective. First of all, when I came to this school I did not know what one point perspective was. I learned that one point perspective is a type of drawing that has a single vanishing point, usually  directly opposite the viewer's eye and usually on the horizon line.

I eel like I did good just that I could have worked on my floor and stools a bit more.
  • b. What would you change or differently if you could do this project again?
I would draw darker so you could actually see the picture.
  • c. Find a drawing on the wall that you think is successful. Describe it. Why is it successful?
Cindy's was successful because she drew dark and her stools were great.
  • d. What did you learn about one point perspective?
It is easier than it sounds.

I included all of the necessary components to my drawings.
  • b. What would you change or differently if you could do this project again?
I would erase some smudge marks to make my drawing look neater and more presentable.
  • c. Find a drawing on the wall that you think is successful. Describe it. Why is it successful?
I really enjoyed Ryan's drawing because it was so colorful and creative. Adding color made it unique compared to others around the room.
  • d. What did you learn about one point perspective?
I learned that one point perspective, if applied to a drawing, can make shapes and pictures look very realistic. I would have never been able to draw something like this without the knowledge of one point perspective. Moreover, I learned about orthagonals, the vanishing point, and the three types of lines.

  1. In my final drawing I feel I have accomplished the important requirements of one point perspective. I feel as though I showed that I’m improving on my drawing expertise. I know I still have room to improve but I believe I am improving with drawings of windows, chairs, tables, etc. using orthogonal lines

  2. My windows on the left side needed to be bigger and worked on more.

  3. I feel that Cindy’s final drawing was successful. The lines were straight, neat, and met her vanishing point.

  4. I learned the importance of orthogonal lines in one point perspective drawing and how much it contribute to making drawings look realistic.

I feel like I accomplished a lot of the requirements, but, I am not that happy with my tops of the windows and my table and stools I think could have been a little better.

b. What would you change or differently if you could do this project again?

If I could do this project again, I would use my time better and I would do the larger part first of the drawing and then add the details.

c. Find a drawing on the wall that you think is successful. Describe it. Why is it successful?

The drawing is finished, the majority of the lines are drawn over with pen, the other pencil lines that are not drawn over are erased, the lines are straight, the stools and the table are outlined and colored. This picture is successful because it fits all of the requirements and some that were not really needed.

d. What did you learn about one point perspective?

I learned that up is down, down is up, left is right, and right is left when it comes to the vanishing point and the horizon line.

I feel like i did a good job trying to accomplish what i needed to do. My back wall 15 because of no windows. The side walls are good because they have window but the door wasnt so good so like a 19. The ceiling deserve a 20 because i tried my best on that and i followed the rules. The others i aint have. Work on it more. One drawling i seen looked like they took their time on it and looked just like the example we used. I learned that the orthagonals were very important.

I feel like I'd accomplish finally understanding how to use orthagonal lines. I would add more details if I'd did this project again. I personally think that Cindy had the most sucessful drawing because it was neat, very acurate, and it looked like she actually took her time with it. What I maninly learned about the one point perpective is how to use it properly. For example, making verticle, horizontal, and orthagonal lines with the point in the middle of the paper.

In art this quarter, I was very proud of my skills and how I reflected them in the final drawing. I drew the walls, windows, doors, floor, and even a table and chairs. All in all I think I did well drawing the art room and making it look realistic with the one point perspective. If I could do this project again I would make the lines darker and more precise. I would also add more detail to the drawing itself. I think Emily's drawing was successful because it was clean, had dark lines, and contained the orthagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines that were required. I learned that one-point perspective is NOT easy, but it is required when making realistic art and architecture.

I feel like I accomplished a lot with my drawing. I make the ceiling, floor, back wall, windows, and a table and chair. I attempted to draw everything required. I would change this project by being given more instruction. I am one that works better with more guidance, but this project did help me to work more independently and work through any issues I came across myself. One drawing I found successful was one where the tables fit really nicely in the spacing of the room drawn. The sizing of all objects in the room seemed to be correct which made the overall drawing work. I learned a lot about one point perspective through this project. I learned how important orthogonal lines are and how they make the perspectives look accurate which completes the entire picture.
