My One Slide

In my new slide I saw that a lot of images that were distracting and hard to see so I took all of them out. Also saw that a lot of the colors were contrasting each other so picked one solid color and just left it there. It's important to do research before hand because without I was lost and I had no idea what to do.

I think that this slide is very well put together. But there are somethings that contradict. The two oranges don't seem to go together. And I didn't notice the text on the left side of the slide until I looked a second time.

The background color you used for your name matches the image on the left very nicely. I would just make sure the fonts are more similar, to balance it out and establish a theme. Really big improvement!

The orange tones and hue of the sunset image are really mirrored on the other side, with the orange background. Your name is in large black text and it draws the viewer to that, which was a good design choice. My only suggestions are to maybe have made your name font more similar to the quote font. Also, it would have been bolder if you made the quote text bigger. You truly uncluttered the slide from your previous one!

The colors used in this slide was very effective and worked well with the image on the left. The decision to use a that font for your name was not that aesthetically pleasing however, comparing to the left side. A thing you could do to fix that is by changing it to something that looks more like the font used in the image. But besides that, I congratulate you on such a good job.

I appreciate the fact that you tried to have a color scheme for your slide. It's relaxing for the eye, even though the colors still have contrast. I wish the font for your name matched the font for the quote, to tie it all in. I also wish the '3' was centered in order to have a more symmetrical feel.

The meaning behind you're slide is interesting but I think you should change the color scheme. The orange hue in the image and the orange in your background don't compliment each other very well. I also think you should make the image of the hands more crisp and clear. Overall I think you used the rule of thirds very well.

The color scheme is very pleasing to me. The use of negative space really helped you in your second slide, I think this is a big improvement. Your reflection shows all the steps you took to make your slide better, with the comments you got.

The color scheme is very interesting and I'm intrigued by the sunset color matching the background of the text on the right. I feel using another font and maybe finding a clearer image might have been a bit more fitting for the font seems pretty plain and boring unlike yourself. ;)
