The Monkey Paw by W.W.jacobs

This old short story is about a mummy monkey paw that is given to a family who is poor the basic rules of the paw are that they are 3 wishes with it they wish for a few things but horrible things come with those wishes and their is a quote on the top of the story that says ¨ Be careful what you wish for, you may receive it.¨ and that will possibly be my main topic which is 3 wishes and around that topic.

A gay man enlists his lesbian best friend to be their surrogate but she denies. Afterwards the gay best friend convinces her to inseminate herself while she's blacked out drunk. Months later she is showing symptoms and he has to come out with his dirty doings with his husband and especially his best friend. Later they find out an true odd turn of events...

​Hello, 

Thank you for taking a look at the creative writing piece I wrote this year. The story centers around a group of adventurers tasked with an investigation of the mysterious silence and lack of activity in the city of Aldrakstead. I was inspired by novels that were written in the Forgotten Realms universe which is the same universe that the Dungeons & Dragons universe is set in. I wanted to us the second-person when telling this story to give that feeling of walking the audience through the story like a game-master would do with his players. I hope you enjoy it!
