Abstract


   This is an Idea for a story I have been writing since Christmas of 2013. It has gone through many changes and it's meant to be a movie type of story. What I am presenting to to you is a brief description of the universe it takes place in the society of the place, charters, etc. This is still in the works so if anything looks like it needs to be fixed I’m sorry about that.

Major Characters


Charles DeVon (Hero): Is a young intelligent man who has been training under his mentor and father figure Marcus and has been training to become a Knight and to Fill his father Grand Knight Title. He was raced by his mother until she died when he was 5 and Marcus has raced him ever since his mother's death. At times it's hard for him to control his rage for “betrayer” that he is responsible for the death of his father. He also has the fear of losing the one he is close to and will do anything to protect them and let someone die because of him


Rachael (Warrior): Is Young Woman who grew up with charles and has been being trained by Charles to become a Knight and is very intelligent person beyond her years and has a very love passion for love and peace to the world. She was raced by her mother along with her younger brother.


Marcus Johnson (Mentor): Is an old very wise man at age 50. He is one of the last Knight masters to survive the “Knight Purge”. He was the student of Grand White Knight Daniel DeVon IV. For 20 years has avoided capture but the Empire but his hopes are that Charles can bring back peace to the world.


Jennifer DeVon (Damsel): Is the half sister of Charles DeVon. She is the last family charles has and has been on her own with her brother in Union City for 3 years. She is 2 years younger that charles


Minor Characters


Betrayer: He is the one who had started the “Knight Purge” and is the leading general in the Cusentent Army. he also is one of the grand knights that has the trait and uses his power to do what he calls good but in reality he is doing horrible things to other countries and his own people.



Timeline


Pre-Union Era: Empires ruled the lands of the continent and ended into a grand wars between the big empires which ended in death and destruction killing millions of people. The Knights were divided on what side they were on 16 grand knights fought 15 of them were killed only 1 was left to live


Union Era: The Grand Knight established a peace organization to prevent another Grand war, all the empires were dissolved and became independent countries. an Island on the Grand river was named Union City and the place where the union congress would talk out issues happening in the world. the system lasted for 1000 years


Rise Of The Empire Era: The “Betrayer” helped bring an end to the Union and started with the purge of the Knight Peace Corp and came to an end with his followers invading Union City and taking down the flag of the Union. Grand Knight Daniel DeVon IV attempted to kill him and stop him from seizing control but Daniel's fate was unknown but many think he died after and had no children and the Grand Knight Cycle was broken. The Union fell and the “ Betrayer” got control and wanted to expand his power


Empire Era (plot): The Empire started to expand into the former union countries


The Grand War


In the beginning there was war between 8 knights of white, 8 knights of dark with the whole continent at war. In the end each Knight fell, 1 was left to live by the gods and the dead and the goddess Harmony gave a stone to the knight known as the resurrection stone.True peace we come when a Grand Knight open the Grand Knight chamber and learn the shadows of the past and will bring back the light of peace and close the suffering of the past. the suffering had been brought upon by the fighting between the goods fighting over power. The Goddess Harmony and the God Discord both want control over the mortal world so this was was a result of this.


Religion


Harmony: She is the goddess of wisdom and intelligence.  She is very clever with her fights. She has been trying to get complete power in the mortal world for 2500 years.


Discord: He is the god of Power and war. He uses force and power to get what he wants. He has been trying to get complete power in the mortal world for 2500 years.


Both Gods have fought power and has used mortals as pawns in this game in with this lead to the grand war. in with the goddess gave one mortal god like powers and used in to put the mortal world back to peace. this was a knight and he told the goddess that he serves his people not the god or the goddess because of what the world had come to because of this conflict.


Plot Outline

The empire has expanded in the north trying to put down multiple countries. Our hero Charles is a soldier for hire in Union City. He has been on his own with his sister for 3 years now. He gets hired by a group to take a out the musket  Manufacturing shops. This is a dangerous job but this is how he brings income for him and his sister. after he completes the job he returns to the group's Headquarters and finds out that they are spies from the northern countries trying to weaken the empires supplies. they ask Charles to join him, he does not know and says no the offer and as he is leaving a woman's voice yells his name. He turns to see it's a woman that recognizes, its Rachel. Rachel is a woman that trained with him. she tells him why he should join but still refuses the offer but as he leaves she says “we need someone else on the next job”

The Innocent Man Review

Some books you read can be good or not good and sometimes you would judge it by its cover saying “its going to be bad” or “not even going to read it”. That was my first impression of “The Innocent Man” but I began to read it and I changed my mind on my opinion about the book. I like about the story about how injustice in a small town in Oklahoma was changed by one murder and how one person statement can change a case.

The book tells the story of Ron Williams and how this affected him and how bad injustice can get. The story starts with a very brutal and disgusting murder of a girl that had made a small peaceful town where people everywhere knew each other was turn into fear, anger and rage, as the town was wondering about who could have done the murder and what the outcomes could happen to the townspeople if the killer is not caught.

This book is mostly about how the investigation went down, how the police made few mistakes and what they did wrong.  Ron Williams, a former minor league baseball player from the Oakland Athletics and famous in the town is one of the suspects in the investigation. He had been seen at the bar where the woman was at hours before she was found dead and he also had a drinking problem. So that made him very interesting to the police because of that.

He was tried for murder but had trouble being tried.  He and his friend were found guilty of murder and both were given their death penalty. Ron Williams story is a different one than you think he was a star in his town before the murder he was a baseball star and got drafted by the Oakland Athletes and firsted started in Class-A and also played in Major League Baseball but never made his dream of being an all-star player or winning a world series. This book is show more on how the american justice system can make mistakes and how it affects people. also when reading the book I felt what America could have done with this murder case and how it changes one persons life and the people around them.

The case was done by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) to solve the case they were pressured to solve the case so they even used very little evidence to back up the case that never was part of Ron being guilty. there was very little to go on so they went on any lead they got to the case and they got very little from the leads only that it talked about Ron Williams and his friend. The case was filled with corruption and injustice and was tried unfairly and found an innocent man of murder.

The book had a few tricks in the pages its was a little hard to understand what was going on sometimes and sometimes it was not described well but still it showed how good the book is with photos of the trail and a lot of things. I thought that putting photos into a book helps to support describe about what the writer is trying to say. Also it is very describing about what's going on and about the scene, feel and smell. If you're a person who like very describing writing and visual photos in books then this is the book for you.

I read the book and I liked how they took this story about Ron and showed what happened and the injustice that happened. This book really shows how justice can be taken too far with no fair trial not enough evidence to back up the case or a witness to see the crime take place or DNA samples or blood samples. Even though the evidence was very week they were able to covent him of murder in the first degreg and sentenced to death and the thought what the OSBI could have done wrong did they convicted an innocent man. The book has very done a good job at getting the readers attention and keeps them interested in the book and keeping balance for both.

Overall I think the book the book is very good but some places in there are confusing but I would recommend this to people who like stories that target american justice system and what the effects can do of injustice to a person.

Humanities Final Portfolio 2013

What I learned this year is many things but its hard to pick witch work I think is very good but my work I did this year has helped me learned more on history and on my writing skills and i belive that I have learned more than I did last year here is a Histroy jounraI did that shouled that i leared “European art from the renaissance on wards women were depicted as being dware of being seen by [male] spectator” this showed that I can take qutoes that I leared and use them to help me on my learning. there is so mush other work I did this year but I think overall I did ok for this year and hope I improve for years to come.



Hello If you are reading this that means that I am dead. I could not take what has been happing to my people, my family and myself I could not take these light skin people what they are doing to my land, my home and me as a person. I cant take any more of these people killing our tribe, are cature and our religion. I wish there was anthor way but to me there is none. I wanted to restore are people to our former glory but if my cature dies I die with it. but dont worry Ill be with the gods and godesses. I will be ok.

Two ways of speaking

Language is different for because how english is written down. I’ve had trouble with English since I could I remember. English is more hard for me to used to because o f the different ways they are spoken I had trouble speaking proper English with my writing everything. I had different kind of english accents and ways of speaking it my whole life.  My way of speaking English is like most people talk, but sometimes I use words that not many people use.  I don’t think I have an accent but some of my family does have an accent like my dad family has the southern accent and sometimes it hard for me to tell what they are saying sometimes but most of the time I can tell what they are saying. Me I still need to speak better english but I got most of english but learning another language is much harder for me because of me having trouble with English in general. In spanish its hard to speak in an accent and writing in spanish is just as hard. Like my language will improve with time but not yet because of the ba thats in front of be not letting me get there. I need to get around that barrier and keep going to my goal but then there are other barriers in my way not letting me and slowing me down, keeping me at bay.

Whats Life Holds For Me

I wonders when change would come and make life different for me it was just like it was yesterday, I was on my mac going on to youtube just wanted to know what new videos were up from my favorite youtuber smosh After that I watch a lot of other video and i thought to myself "what if I could do that" and then I went on iMovie not knowing what I would make but just wanted to try to be funny and fun on camera and I did a video and then edited it to see what it was like and when I looked at it I thought it might not be good enough. a few weeks later I had a friend over at my house paling games and then I went on the computer and ask my friend if He would watch a video I made, he said "ok" and I showed him and he said to me "this is good are you going to put this on youtube and I did put it on and I got 100 views in 1 week and i fought it would not be good but it was good but it was good when I saw the comments and the likes I thought I may or may not have good talent because I thought I could never do anything like this in my whole life. 3 weeks passed and I went on the computer again I checked how the video was doing and I saw it had about 700 views and I thought at the moment that "ok I am getting more popular on the internet I might just might want to do this in my life" I was young at that time not knowing what the future would holed but just go what my heart says I might just might be able to do that. I started to make more videos and vlogs on there and I was getting better and better at recording and editing my videos and at the time I did improve for my videos I did not write how it would go at the time. When I got to high school I learned how to write good essyes and I worte more and I learned that I could make scipes and mini show on the internet. I made my own stories with rescarch and the life lesions in my stories and I became better at writing. On day near Christmas in 2011 I was just chilling with my friend and me and my friend was wondering what we can make next on youtube we had lots of ideas and music idea but I said we could do a TV internet show. He thought it was a good ides and then for the last six months I started making characters and scripts for episodes and I showed to him what we were doing and him and I wanted to be funny and we still continue to make this but we hope what I have done in the past I might get my show high views and great reviews by critics in the future
