3) My internet is added on to my monthly phone bill, so its an additional $15 per month. Yearly its $180.

My l.a.n, local area network consists of my phone which is connected by a land line, my xbox, computer, laptop, and printer which are connected using a usb/ethernet. I did not know that what made your life so simple could be so difficult when you got down to the logistics on it. When you have an ISP, just be educated, and know every component that goes into so that when something like Hurricane Sandy happens you will be prepared.

Sharon M.Draper is a bestselling author that received an award for two of her books, Cooper Sun and Forged by Fire. Sharon is also known for winning many awards on her book, “Out of my mind.” Sharon wrote Out of my Mind because she always wanted to know what goes on in a persons mind when they can not express their thoughts. Also, because Sharon has a daughter that is disabled and decided to write a story about a funny, smart and wonderful person that has a future and goals just like everyone else. As Sharon M. Draper says “Get ready to meet a girl whose voice you will never, ever forget.”
Have you ever wanted to tell someone something, but you did not know how to say it or you could not say it at all? Did someone ever say that you were not smart? Melody, a character from the book Out of my Mind, goes through this everyday. Melody is an amazing child who is intelligent but no one knows. Melody remembers everything she sees or hears and she wishes there was a way to stop it. Melody can not walk or talk. She can not do anything herself and faces many challenges on a daily basis.
Melody never catches a break, there is a new challenge everyday that she needs to figure out. Melody is in 5th grade and is eleven years old. She attends school normally, but goes into a classroom that has other students with similar problems. Since no one knows melody is brilliant she does not learn anything past 3rd grade. After a couple months in fifth grade, Melody is put into a classroom with able bodied students and some of them do not accept Melody. Later she is faced with obstacle that seems impossible to face. Melody felt like all her hard work and progress in the classroom was not useful anymore. Melody always has someone by her side helping her and she appreciates everyone who does. Mrs.V for example has been with her since day one, and will never give up on her. Mrs.V is Melodys next door neighbor. She believes in Melody and will do anything to help her succeed. Everyone needs someone to look up too and sometimes it’s someone other than a child’s parents. If you have someone by your side every step of the way, you feel more confident and you know there is someone that will help you if something is not going the way you planned. Melody also has a new born sister Penny, who is very different from her. Melody wishes she can be a normal big sister but penny can always look up to melody in ways that are exteremly different from her parents because melody has been through so much then someone can even imagine and still as a huge smile on her face.
This book will teach the reader a lot. One essential lesson that is expressed in the book, is to never give up on something you want because anything is possible. Every page of this book is so detailed and it makes you really feel like you are with the characters in the book. If you are interested in fiction books this is the perfect book for you. It is not based off of a real events but while reading this it feels real and makes you want to meet Melody. Everyone may not look the same or not everyone is able to things “normal” people can do but it doesn't matter everyone is unique in their own amazing way. “Out of my mind” is an unbelievable book that everyone should read.

This benchmark so far was okay. It was easier than other bm's because you got to choose a medium which you knew how to use or were more comfortable with. I think I did okay with the benchmark. I tried my best to use imovie and talk, which isn't the thing I'm best. Yes I don't mind talking but I'm not good at it. So the talking part of the benchmark sucks, but I didn't know what else I could do about it. I recorded it over and over again tons of times.

How to greet and ask how someone how they're doing in Spanish.
Greeting someone in spanish is just as easy as doing it in english! All you really need to know is the difference between informal and formal greetings, and of course how to actually greet someone! The chart below will show you how to informally greet someone, such as a close friend, and how to respond when they ask you how you feel.
Notice the (S) and (Ud) in the second column. What do those two letters mean? The (s) shows that to greet someone informally, you would say 'Como estas,' instead of 'Como esta,' which is the shortened version of greeting someone with respect. The (Ud) is used when greeting someone of high respect, like your grandparents, or your parents. Ud. stands for 'usted.' Pretty simple, no? With practice, you'll get this down in no time! ¡Adios!

1.) My internet service provider is Covad. On my network I have three laptops, an X-BOX and a printer. All of these devices are connected to the internet through a device called a modem.
2.)Something I learned about the network is how it's set up and what my network is. I had an OMG moment when we watched the video of how computer networks used to be, because it's crazy to see how drastically the internet has changed in just a few years.
3.)Some things I would tell others about an ISP/Home network are to be familiar with how often you use internet and how many devices you have, so you don't get over charged. Also, that you are sure your Internet Service Provider is trust worthy, and they give you good connection to the internet.

On my L.A.N., I have two iPhones, an iPod, two laptops, two computers, a printer, and a router. I did have an OMG moment, it was mostly everything I learned about the cables. I have never understood anything about that and I learned more about them. I'd tell people about having an ISP or Home network that it is easier because you can do more at your house but it can be harder when dealing with the provider and money.

My internet provider is Verizon Fios (ISP). My internet comes from a modem, which is a wireless modem. That is connected to a wireless router. I have wireless internet. When I use my iPod, iPad and laptop, I have wireless internet to get connected to the internet. I do get OMG moments when I learn something new and I get really excited. I learned that networks are all different. I learned that once you put something out on the internet it stays there. I learned that there is a cloud that holds and stores everything. I would tell people that you should be watch how many hours of internet you use, so you don't go over your bill. Also, when a certain internet providers have a deal make sure that you read the fine print. I would also tell people that you should be aware and make sure that your wireless or internet has a password so other people don't use your internet.

My internet comes from the verizon company. It comes in as a phone cord and you connect it with the wireless modem which I connect to the desktop. Then the modem wirelessly connects to other laptops and Iphone and Ipod Touch in the house. I learned to tell the difference between some of the cords and I also, learned that there is something like the internet cloud or an actual machine in space, which holds all the information that we put in our computer. I was surprised by that fact because I never thought of my information being help in space like that. What I think that other people need to know about having an ISP/Home network is the structure of my internet chart, like where all the things connect and how it is connected.
Q1 English BM: A Dance With Dragons
I am reading the book A Dance With Dragons, by George RR Martin, part of the series A Song of Ice and Fire. The location I have chosen to recreate is called “The Twins.” It is a large bridge that spans a very large river, with a tower at one end and a fort at the other. It is the home of a major House, or family in the book, called the Freys. It is the site of a very infamous event in the series, called the Red Wedding. In it, several major characters are attending a wedding in The Twins, and Lord of the Freys betrays the major character, and kills him and several other major characters, along with hundreds of other people at the wedding. The major character who is betrayed was previously at war with another house, and had been allied with the Freys, but the changed sides in the war and betrayed the people at the wedding. In the setting of book, it is an ancient custom that when someone eats or drinks in your home, they are protected by the laws of hospitality. The Lord of House Frey betrayed those ancient customs, which made his betrayal much more surprising, and made it one of the most significant events in the series.
The main setting in the book is a continent called Westeros. There is a feudal society in Westeros, where peasants answer to the Lords of the castles they live near. Those Lords answer to one major Lord of the area they live in, and those Lords answer to the King. Every noble, or Lord, belongs to a “House,” or family. The castle that belongs to that house is passed down from father to son, unless some outside event were to take those lands from them. Houses are very important in the series, because people have to be loyal to their own family. However, the Red Wedding was something many Freys knew about, and many were not happy to do what they had to do. However, they did it anyway. This raises that question about whether or not you should follow your family in everything they do, whether or not you disagree with it. In the setting of this book, nobles have to depend on their family much more, because without them they would most likely just be a peasant, or soldier. In today’s world, however, it is much easier to get by without your family, because you don’t depend on them for as much as you did in the setting of this book. Because of this, it is difficult to answer this inquiry question because of the different setting. The Lord of the Freys most likely thought that he did what he had to do to end a war. I think for him, taking the lives of about a hundred people was worth it to save the lives of the thousands of people who may have died in the war if it were to continue. I think the book does help answer my second inquiry question, because how far you would go to what you think is right depends on what you think is right, when you decide that what you think is right outweighs what you have to do. Honor is something found a lot in the series, some people don’t value it, while others do. I think that honor is important, but if it gets in the way of “the greater good” as you may see it, it should not be valued as highly. I don’t think Lord Frey valued honor that much, because what he did by disobeying the laws of hospitality was extremely dishonorable, so I don’t think it held much sway for him. The book raises many other questions about morals, or ethics, but I think that the three I chose are the most important, and the majority of the issues in the book revolve around them.
