WHY DO I WRITE ?
"Why I Write"
I write to show how I feel
Whether I'm happy or sad.
I write so I can share who I am,
What I do, and what I like.
I write because it's what I do best
I write to get my point across.
I write to communicate with others,
Because sometimes it's hard for to say aloud.
I write because that's what I normally do
I write to talk about the people I love
No matter who it is,
Whether it's my family or friends.
But most of all I write,
Because I'm me.
Why I Write.
"Why I write"
Sometimes I write because I am forced. Either for a journal prompt, an essay, a project, a letter, e-mail that has to be sent and various other things. Sometimes I write to get my feelings out. If I need to just write down something instead of saying it to people or spazzing out on people, for a lack of a better term. I write because it can be helpful. You can say anything and the pen, pencil and paper won't judge you or say anything. IT helpful sometimes just to have quiet time just to relax a write. Sometimes I write because I have to write the homework down for a checklist so I know what work I have to do. Sometimes I write because my computer isn't working. There are times I want to write and times I don't want to to write. But either way forced or not, I write. No matter when I write, I always feel like I writer even if I think my writing is bad. This is why I write.
"Why I Write"
I write because it's how I express myself.
I write because it's apart of who I am.
I write because it takes me places.
If you was to ask me,
I just gave you my answers.
If your still confused let me say more.
I was stuck on the moon with only a pencil and notebook,
I'll write my way back to earth.
Get it ??
If you don't I'll put it in this prospective,
If I was a artist,
I'll draw my way back to earth.
When I write I get this joy in my spirit,
that tells me everything will be alright.
Don't judge me,
When I say,
"Writing is fun."
We all like different things,
So we can't I like to write.
Don't judge me,
When I say,
"I nearly failed English last year."
Don't judge me,
When I say,
"I can't write a paper."
Just know I write for fun.
Not when it's required.
I hate writing essays,
but I love being creative when I write.
I can't write about a world event,
But I can write about my day.
I can make up people and give them everything.
But I can't write about somebody real and what they have.
Anyways,
I write because it makes me happy.
I write because it's how I express myself.
I write because it's apart of who I am.
I write because it takes me places.
I write because it's inside of me.
Why wouldn't I write?
I write because...
I write because although actions speak louder than words, words sometimes can make a difference in life
I write because sometimes written humor can brighten someones day
I write because I feel free to tell a story to and audience or myself
I write because through these words it explains who I am
I write because when I write, I write for myself not for others
I write because things that are written down show proof, rather than speaking with hear say
I write because it's a way to empty your mind when stress takes over
Why I Write by kevans
When things need to be said that need undivided attention, I Write
To put my mark on the world to let people know I exist, I write
To remember keys that will open doors to my future, I write
When I write I force people to listen,
Written words do not bear any overtones ,
They can't change meaning,
They come to you intact, uncorrupted,
And bear as much felling as they did when you wrote them
"Why I Write"
Writing comes from with in, but the writing i write is the writing that i see in everyday life.
I started writing poems and 5th grade and loved it.
Poems from Nameless to Birthday Cards.
Through middle school it was the same old.
In high school I started to write raps.
I don't why but i want to write a script for a movie.
In school writing comes easy to me because I can talk about a lot in one paragraph and still have more to talk about.
Not to brag but can write a two page paper in about 30 mins. depending on the topic.
And I guess that is really it.

Why I Write
Expressing myself is hard enough
To say it out loud is really tough
Thinking what I say will be so bad
Worrying about if people would laugh
Figuring out what to do
How to get my words out for people too
Homework assignments easiet thing
Writing down my own words to say
Only thing I can do is write
Scared of the wrong I might
What to do when I can’t speak
Will my words I say get the best of me
Afraid of embarrassment from my peers
Now I just write down what you want to hear
Why I write is a question that I need to answer
Why I write something I can’t answer
Because I write for many reasons
My writing changes more then the seasons

Dear Mr. President
My name is Carlita Rodriguez. I am a latino-American in Austin, Texas. There hasn’t been much work available, let alone for a latina in a border state. The Keystone Tar Sands would provide much needed work and a healthy income for my four year old daughter and I. It would also significantly improve the economy for other Americans. If the Tar Sands were built it would also help others like myself find work. The only problem is I have to think about my daughter’s future.
The pipeline would emit pollution just like any other pipeline. Since the Tar Sands are a pipeline that means that they will leak. If it were to be built, the pipeline would run over a fresh water source, now rare in America. Some believe that it would be “Game over” for the environment. Its not so much a concern for me, but for my daughter. I know that I might not live to see the negative results of this project, but I couldn’t rest knowing that I was a part of my child’s environmentally instability.
Honestly I really need the work, but the price I’d have to pay would be too much. I vote no for the Tar sands project. The environment is to much of a price to pay for a little more energy.
Sincerely, Carlita Rodriguez

SCOTUS Case: Florence V. Board
Facts
of the Case: A citizen named
Albert Florence from the state of New Jersey was arrested on a bench warrant from
Essex County. Florence was charged from the arrested for non-indictable offense
and not capable to pay a fine. However, Florence argued for his rights and
protested the validity of the warrant due to the fact that he had paid the
fine. However, after his arrested and detention, the charge was, in fact
already been dismissed.
During the
arrest, Florence was stripped and search as subjected to a visual body cavity
search during his arrival at the Burlington County Jail. From the time of his
arrest he was being consume to visual body cavity search and after six days
upon his transfer from Burlington County to Essex Country Correctional Facility.
But soon after, the charge against him was dismissed and Florence was released.
However,
Florence decided to bring a civil rights lawsuit to the United State District
Court and to the District of New Jersey for claiming the right to his privacy
and the rights of all persons in the class of alleged minor offenders of
consuming in the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Also the Constitution were violated the
Fourth Amendment by strip and search a visual body cavity searches for a minor arrest.
This District Court agreed to Florence request and his claim to the charge.
Summary of the Arguments before the SCOTUS: The Court pointed out the U.S. Supreme
Court ruled in 1979, which stated “Inmates do not have the right of privacy in
prison that is guaranteed to ordinary citizens.” This is to protect the process
from unreasonable violations to any citizen’s privacy. The Court decided to
applied one of the cased called “Bell v. Wolfish,” which were also involved
visual body cavity searches for being arrestees including charged with a minor
offense and was striped and search.
The Court
decided to apply the rule of the Third Circuit panel that was persuaded by the
recent Eleventh and Ninth Circuit that ruled balancing the jails’ security
concerns. These circuits are –
(1)
The detection of smuggling weapons, contraband and drugs into the facility.
(2) The identification of gang
members by observation of their tattoos.
(3)
The prevention of disease, particularly MRSA, against the privacy interest of
the arrestees, a blanket policy of strip searching and subjecting all arrestees
to visual body cavity searches, irrespective of any particularized suspicion,
does not contravene the Fourth Amendment.
Prediction: Since the Supreme court had involved in a similar case and was pass with the Bell v. Wolfish, this case probably will be done with more of a complex explanation by the judges and the court. However, since this case is being reenact, Florence V. Board will not be abandon by lawyers because the Fourth Amendment was violated for Florence, which also was prohibited in the Three Circuits.

According to Philadelphia.Gov City Council website the person that represents me is Anna C. Verna who runs the district of number 2 that includes Center City, South, and South West Philadelphia.
My legislator Anna C. Verna would have voted on my issue in the past of curfew with it being a lot stricter. According To City Council City Of Philadelphia Life Liberty and You it states that she has be a strong supporter of curfew centers therefore should would want the curfew law to be more enforced then what it is now since teens get out of hand after being told what to do.
My representatives and I have in common that the curfew should be a lot stricter then what it. Teens should not be out late at night and ruin it for the people who don’t do anything at all. As previously stated from the first blog A first violation of Philadelphia's curfew law will result in the imposition of a $250 fine and/or community service. Parents are held responsible for the actions of their teens. The fine for the first offense of breaking curfew is $300 and up to $500 for the second offense.
President Verna main policy was to make sure Philadelphia was well protected and making sure the needs were meet She is involved with a lot of stuff. For example She has been a consistent supporter of wage and business tax reductions while remaining firmly committed to public services.
Anna C. Verna community is interest is making sure that they live by her ways in the past. such as hard work, perseverance and integrity. She is a very powerful person who tends who made
sure that they people’s needs were being met.

English 3 - Rami

Why I Write:
I write to express my emotions.
To release all the anger and frustration
that’s holding me back from accomplishing any task at hand.
I write to record the memories that make me who I am today.
I write to a friend that always listens and never judges.
I write to brainstorm ideas that can possibly make a difference in the future.
I write to feel free of speaking my voice.
I write to escape reality and live in dreams,
which helps me live forever.
In a world where secrets and privacy exists.
I write to concentrate and feel a sense of purpose in life.
I write to reveal the truth.
I write to try and accept any circumstance.
