I never know when your gonna show up, but I know you'll always come.
Even though you bring me pain I know I need you in my life.
Yeah sometimes you can ruin my whole day but I guess it's worth it.
But the thing I hate most is when you come at the worse possible time because you know when I'm in the middle of something important.
That doesn't stop you thought, you always have to make a statement.
Guess I should thank mother nature for that smh.
Wouldn't have it any other way though.

Someday

A week or so ago I wrote and recorded a song. Theses are some of the lyrics I wrote and thought I would share. They are not my best but I do like them and my friends said they absolutely adored it. This is also quiet big for me for I never share my lyrics I write outside of my friends. SO um yeah here they are.

Even though the road has been hard. Even if tears have fallen now there is hope for the sun to appear, to dry them all away and guide me on. Though there is the weight trying to be what others want I keep all my dreams tucked inside my heart. Some how I will find the strength to keep moving on past this pain. Following this secret dream in my heart. Someday it will lead me to where I belong. To a dream that is true and to love that is so pure

Alicia En El Pas De Las Maravillas

Natalie Sanchez

Poem: Dream Girl

Who would think that you had exist outside of my dreams

my dream girl out of my sleep what do this all mean

it seems to be a sign that i should make you mines

girl looking so bad, her apperance should be a crime

she stole my heart like thief, but left it pumping in peace

she so close to me but i was thinking she's out of reach

she got my emotion in waves, and i'm reaching high tide

got the familiar aura you giving off that wifey vibe

a beautiful flower grown out in an ugly lot

look like you been through a lot so deserve a lot

fly like a hi 5, she always look alive

looking like a bride, you should reside by my side

A Shining Hospital Visit

Today I went to see my Aunt Heather/Godmother in the hospital. They're pretty sure she had a mini-stroke. I hated seeing her like that, but even in a hospital gown and doped up on meds my aunt looked strong and brilliant. She kept us all laughing with stories of a "scary girl with man hands and a fanny pack" and her many stories of the horrors of showing her nipples to more people than she had in her entire life thanks to the hospital gown with a huge pocket in the center of it for all of her cords to go through. It was one of those moments where you see the true love of a family, where even in a dark moment we find ourselves laughing and smiling and I wondered to myself how I could ever live without my bright, shining, crazy aunt.

ADM: Attention Deficit Meditation

I decided I wanted to try Meditation. I thought it would be cool to locate the depths of soul and ask it questions only God and the universe can answer. And then I would rename myself Marlow Sunshine, talk with an extension on each word and practically hover when I float. Because that is what people who Meditate learn to do. So I clear my room so that my "sacred place" has plenty of room for the impact of the Meditation, if there is one. Then I wonder if I should turn on some soft Robin Thicke or JT jams, but decided against it because I've seen that in the movies. Then I get into my Meditation position, I decided I would stand because I'm not flexible enough to sit comfortably in the pretzel stance. Also my feet and legs fall asleep and I didn't want that to interrupt me in the middle of my soul search, it is most certainly inappropriate. So I stand completely still and breathe, when I realize how soft my carpet actually is, how annoying the tag on my wool sweater inch unbearably bad, and the is an unnatural wedgie forming. So I lose the sweater, remove the wedgie and begin again, only this time standing on my bed so I won't get distracted by the carpet. Finally I try again. Breathing a tad quickly, but steady, and slowly bouncing on my Postrpedic. Then eventually I end up jumping on it, entranced in past times I used to jump on the bed as a rebellious 13 year old. Good times. Then, once again I realize my mission and decide it's probably best to just sit in a chair and meditate there. When I hop down i get to my chair and become mesmerized by my supercool screensaver of spider-like mystical movements. After five minute of diligently watching the saver my phone ring and it's Jeff telling me he's outside and ready to head to the arcade. And well I figure there are chairs there, what better place to Mediate.

Lost At Sea

The weekend of my cousins wedding – we were all on the beach, all of my family members, except for the one getting married, of course. She was too busy getting ready for the wedding, but the rest of us were having a good time. Several of us had just finished playing catch with the football and decided to go into the water when one of the cousins pulled out a raft. Not a big raft, but rather one of the flimsy rafts you blow up and relax in the middle of a pool drinking a pina colada. Not that I drink pina coladas or anything, because I’m not 21 – that’s just how these rafts are generally used. This was also a very big raft – big enough for at least two people. And so my cousins thought it would be fun to take that out into the ocean as they paddled myself and my other cousin around. Oh yeah, it’s important to know that this wedding was in Puerto Rico and generally resorts on these tropical islands don’t have lifeguards to protect their customers. They swim at their own risk; however, we were not entirely on our own. There was a row of rocks conveniently placed about 50 yards out so we don’t merely just drift out to sea. Another thing about Puerto Rico you should know is that their beaches are notorious for their powerful undercurrent – a feat most fifth graders know little about. I sure didn’t and apparently neither did my cousins, who were much older, because after getting about half way out, we tried to turn around and despite our best efforts the raft just stayed in it’s place. Actually, It probably drifted even further out. After several minutes of attempting to get our families’ attention back on shore, and then several more minutes to get them to realize we were actually in trouble and not just waving to them. By this time, we had drifted out to those rocks I had mentioned earlier. It was nice to be able to rest, because all of the paddling was extremely strenuous, however, shortly after being perched on the rock, we start to feel a slight discomfort in our feet. After the pain intensified we realized that these weren’t merely just rugged rocks, but rather, each of us had several sea urchins lodged into the soles of our feet. But when you put it in perspective, these rocks were the only things keeping us from roaming out to sea, so that slight discomfort was extremely trivial in the scheme of things. Amid the panic between the four of us and our family members searching for a way to help us get back to shore, I look up to see my mom video taping the entire thing. That’s my mom for you. It’s actually kind of funny now that I think about it, but it wasn’t in the moment. Anyways, while my mom was video taping, my uncle found a wire that I guess was connected to one of the rocks and he was able to maneuver his way out to us and help us get back to shore by holding on to the wire. The next day, my cousin had her beautiful wedding on the beach, with the romantic Puerto Rican sun as her backdrop, and although those pesky urchins were still stuck in our feet, everything just seemed OK.
