I write because it makes me feel good. I write because it can help deal with problems. I write because it gives me something to do. I write because my teacher tells me to. I write because I want to. I write because I am in school. I write because it keeps my fingers moving. I write because it helps me think. I write because it is fun. 

I write for me and for others but mostly me. 
Letting my imagination run wild through my head and channel it through my pen onto the paper.
I write about adventures real and fiction. 
I write of romance. Connecting to a person with vivid descriptions of many things. 
I write about trust and teamwork. Showing that friends and family can overcome ANYTHING.
I write to build suspense. Leaving the reader on the edge of their seat, with descriptions so vivid they can see everything happening. 
I write to make people laugh. Always bringing some comedic relief. 
I write for the joy of making up stories, of fantasy, fiction, and many more.
Why I write there are so many reasons but the main one is this...

I write for the readers.

 

   People usually say "I write to express myself". And yes, that is why I do it in a nutshell. But it's deeper than that. I know for a fact that I don't like telling people how I'm feeling. I can't just say that I'm pissed, or heartbroken. Writing is my way to say all of that with out even twitching my lip. You'll find out more about me through my writing than I would ever let you hear me say. My journal listens to me and my pen is my translator. They don't judge me. And they never say anything back. This goes for analytical writing as well. I'm not perfect and sometimes I don't want people over my shoulder correcting my every move. Just let me write. I can breath and not be tense when I write, and that is why I do it.

Why do I write? I mostly write because I am instructed to, well then again depends on what type of writing you are talking about? I mostly write because a teacher in a class tells me to. There are much bigger aspects to writing to just this though. I write because it is a form of communication and expressing myself. Writing allows for people to say things they would rather not say out of their mouth, or maybe can't say. I write because it lets me share my story with other people. It allows me to tell others how I feel about things and why I feel that way. Writing is something that we absolutely need. We only know the history that we know today because somebody was smart enough to write it down. Some of the greatest stories are told through writing. Yes people can re-tell stories through talking but that way mostly messes up information, but if it is written down then that changes everything, you are getting the story from the main source. Writing is nothing but another form of talking, and since I love to talk I guess that's why i write. 

Why would any one write?
Why not just leave the page bare?
Why would anyone read it?
Why would they even care?
About what the put on a paper or in a word doc?
Why would people tell stories of an unknown world or hidden place?
Why do people feel the need to express themselves in this way?
O why o why?

Well dah,
People write because they feel like it,
Or because life is so dry,
Stories can add excitement to anything and make anyone feel alive.
They write because sometimes reality isn't enough,
Because there is an unlimited and an unlimited amount of stuff,
Of stuff that can be put on a page or told in a bedtime story
People write for the snaps or claps that comes at the end of the speech
They write because its a way for people to just be themselves or be anyone else who they want to be.

O, you meant why I write?
I'll tell you very simply,
I write because it is a possibly for me.
I write because I feel like it, I write because I'm me.
I write because I simply think its awesome.
To do anything with a page or a line
To simply show the world what I could be.

Why I write ?
i write because instead of me telling you how i feel in person, i rather tell you by writing a letter.
i write Because I can lie beautiful true things into existence, & let people escape from inside their own heads & see through other eyes.
i write because i can lie to my self and to who is reading it will think its real, but its really not.
i write because there are history that haven't been writing and i want to be the first to write them.
i write because..

Its not skill, I'm not a professional writer. I haven't written a novel nor  have I wrote New York's best selling book. I write to express my self, and to let my days emotions fly through the tip of my fingers. Where when i start writing I can't stop, where i know that it possibly isn't making sense but the words are coming out in their own order. A way to speak out loud with out really having anyone hear you. Where you can whisper your thoughts to your pencil. When I'm writing on paper, the pencil is my guidance and the paper is my path. The pencil guides my words and the paper puts it into place. Sometimes I over think it but once I notice I'm over thinking something I stop. I have to be able to know what I'm going to say next and not have to put a single thought into it. Where i can look back and say "Yeah, i wrote that" instead of knowing I could better. When I over think its when i have to write a paper but during my journals I write just to feel clean inside. Like if the world paused and its just me and the things i have to say. Where i can admit to every little thing and i won't be scared about being judged. Where i can speak my heart and won't bore someone, where I can ask a question and get an answer. An answer no one else can give me, my own answer. 

Honestly I don't know why i write. I write sometimes to show expression, I write to feel something , I wrote to get a thought away from me and out of my head and down on paper. Sometimes when i write it explains the crazy jungle jumble i call my mind. But at times I absolutely have to be forced to write.It's just not in my category. I write to see my thoughts as a movie or a book , when I write it explains me. 

The first time i felt like a writer had to be in the 7th grade.I entered in a essay contest. The contest was about who has the best written essay out of the city of philadelphia. The essay "Does the new President of the united rates inspire you , why ?" Was the best essay i have ever written. I won first place in the entire city. This is the moment i felt superiors to all man kind. i felt like I was the best writer ever and all i had to do was clear my jungle jumble mind and express my self in the best way I could. Which is why I write in expression....

Hm, writing? Why do we write? What is “writing?” what are we writing about? What inspire us to write where does writing come from? Writing is that thing that people jot down on paper, walks, grounds, computers, hands just about any solid object that you can think About can be written on. We can write about just about anything, stories, poems, riddles, jokes and notes just to remind you of other important things that happen. All you need is your mind, a pencil or writing utensils and a solid object to write on and write away. You can write the new masterpiece inspired by shakeshere. Or instructions on how to build something from the future to make people lives way easier. Writing is the base and foundation of everything from the pass, present and future. Without writing, life would be like French toast without the butter, the cheese fries without the cheese, the sea without the water. Life would be just one boring oblivion of boredom and sowwer. Without writing, there would be no more books, tools, inventions, poems, songs, music nothing just people wondering the earth with out no enjoyment what so ever. What, do you think, “oh, I don’t need writing, I’ll just turn on the TV and what my favorite show” or “I’ll just watch a movie” or “oh, ima just play my new Xbox game” You couldn’t! Writing is how all those things are created. If there’s no scrip, there’s nothing to become in theater nothing.

 

Who would teach the children the fascination of writing or the thrill that you get, the Goosebumps you get from reading stories and the mind numbing things you can learn from other people writing. The bible, history, science experiments done and famous mathematician that lived in life nothing. This world would be just so meaningless. Writing completes us we write for others, ourselves and just for fun. Writing is one of the most important things that Humans and possibly others can do…

Why I write?
 Ha! Is that even a question.
My pen caresses my paper in a slow gentle way.
 The way my sweaty palm grips my pen, making a permanent mark on my ring finger.
 The smell of fresh lined paper, it's aroma makes me all tingly inside.
Why I write?
 I write because  my mind is my resource, my mind hold my feelings, and my mind is my pen.
Why I write?
The words just stumble on the paper in a jolly kind of way, they don't care if it's a sad story or not.
They just happy they can help me express how I really feel.
Why I write?
 When I write, the world stops and all I see is my paper and my pen.
The tip of my pen touch the blue line on the white track and it's off.

I write because I can be myself, and don't have to act a certain way, it's me and my pen.

Why you write?

There are many different reason why I write not just because school thinks it mandatory or I will need in the world I write because some thing i feel like in life should not be said but written. And what I mean by this is some people have a hard time trying to say what they want so they write it down or take note on it. Some people even write letters to some one they like or love because they’re too afraid to say it. But for me writing has just been one of those things that I know am going to need in my life so I want to get better at doing it all the time. Some times writing douse things talking can’t, like when you send some one a letter from another part of the world. It also plays important part in history. Most things that are found out in the world are recorded   and document on paper so the next generations can under stand. What am trying to get at is that writing is important to our society help in many was and it is evolving every day. There are many people in the world that can’t read or write. It wouldn’t matter if it was English or Spanish the point is people who cant write most likely will not be able to survive in the world. It sad to hear but I hope it comes a time when all people will be able to understand each other not just by talking but also writing.

​~Many other reasons I write is because I want to document my place in this world. I hope that one day-even though I won’t be a famous poet- someone will look back at my notes and lyrics and be inspired. I want others to feel the way I feel every time I read a award winning novel. Every time I read The Twilight Saga and every time I make a song. I write for expression of inspiration. I write cause of my dreams, so you can dream of me.

The reason i write is so people can understand any thing that I can't come up with on the spot. Like if i need to explain something to some one i could just write it down and they could read it at their own pace instead of me explaining it too fast to them and them not getting the right idea and do something wrong. Because you can all way look back at what someone or yourself wrote down. You might forget the things you sometimes say but if it's written down you can read it and remember to do something like take the task to the curb, or take the dog out for a walk. but writing isn't just for when yo need to remember something it could also be for if you have no other way to express how you feel you can write it down and it would relive the person's stress. writing also can be for entertainment reasons like for a play or for a movie you write for just about anything. you write in every class you are in. you write to keep notes and and keep track of score

I write not only to fill the void of creative feeling in me. I write not only to inspire others but my inner self. Those reasons are not what they are but they mean and they mean what i write. The foundation of life is originality for without that there would be no other creatures. The wolf would be looking for cows and the snakes would be playing with mice but no thats a message. We are not like the things of this world and for that we create our own language. We use these scribbles we call letters to express a  in one bottling up to  pure chaos but that is not in humans personas. No we are creatures of force so we force the fabric of time into our hands hoping that time doesn't pass of by , but thats all a part of the great race of the races i do not win but lose. see i do not run but i walk thinking about the next step in the future for when it comes to it all we can do is think and wonder. My children's hands will be mine incarnate opening feeling the stroke of a pen a wait in the dirt hoping that one day a feathers mark will appear on the sun and the world will not be many but one. Our ideals will morphs into a creature of pure insight and we shall not try to despise this being but become part of it. For in the dark there is always a ray of light waiting for you to seize it but not with a holding mine but with a open heart. The essence of writing is not set in stone but it at least can be written on it. All you have to do as the creator of this piece is imagine your life as a ship on the ocean and you see your horizon line. Writing is not a action but a gift from god. thats why i write. 

I hardly ever write by choice, I've tried keeping a journal but only filled out a couple lines every few years. I write when my teachers tell me to. When I write, I prefer to write based on prompts, because I can write most effectively when I write about something I remember or my opinions. I hate writing papers where it's my job to convey my findings of an experiment or teach people something that I learned on the internet. I usually hate writing in general, but sometimes that's not the case. When I wrote a vignette, a snapshot from my life and the events surrounding it, learning something new about the world, I loved it. I loved the writing process, I loved how the words flowed together and I was proud of my piece of art, my writing. When I wrote about another moment in my life, a moment that gave me another deeper understanding of life that I will forever remember, I loved it. Seeing the words come from me and reading them with a sense of almost awe, I realized that writing isn't all bad. In fact, sometimes it's great. I could have stopped in the vignette, left it a certain length and edited what I had already, but instead something compelled me to write more; I needed to give my story the telling that it deserved. Paint a picture on the canvas that is the minds of others using words as my paintbrush, and put them where I was when I lived that part of my life. Make them feel the emotions I felt, think the way I thought, have them relive a part of life that they had never lived in the first place, and give them the experience of it being their own. I write not for my teacher, not for myself, but for the world, for any passing wanderer of the internet to see my work and live my experience. To share something that otherwise may never have been shared. To leave humanity with a part of me.

Why I write?....
 
Sometimes I write because I am forced. Either for a journal prompt, an essay, a project, a letter, e-mail that has to be sent and various other things. Sometimes I write to get my feelings out. If I need to just write down something instead of saying it to people or spazzing out on people, for a lack of a better term. I write because it can be helpful. You can say anything and the pen, pencil and paper won't judge you or say anything. IT helpful sometimes just to have quiet time just to relax a write. Sometimes I write because I have to write the homework down for a checklist so I know what work I have to do. Sometimes I write because my computer isn't working. There are times I want to write and times I don't want to to write. But either way forced or not, I write. No matter when I write, I always feel like I writer even if I think my writing is bad. This is why I write.

I write because it makes me happy.
I write because it's how I express myself.
I write because it's apart of who I am.
I write because it takes me places.

I was stuck on the moon with only a pencil and notebook,
I'll write my way back to earth.

When I write I get this joy in my spirit, 
that tells me everything will be alright.

We all like different things,
So we can't I like to write.

"I nearly failed English last year."

When I say,
"I can't write a paper."
Just know I write for fun.
Not when it's required.

I hate writing essays,
but I love being creative when I write.
I can't write about a world event,
But I can write about my day.
I can make up people and give them everything.
But I can't write about somebody real and what they have.

Anyways,

​Writing is creation. Unless, of course your writing what someone else wrote, then it's just copying. But if the question is why I write, the answer must be the need to create. Creation is the son of adapting. Adaptation is a basic, yet complex part of being human. Writing is a form of creation. Let's recap: Writing is adapting. Usually the motivation to write is a teacher or the promise that good grades equal better money. All in all I very seldom find myself writing for myself, writing for my "now".
