My image includes a lot of different things that allows you to tell you who i am, what i like to do. I was told to make all of my pictures transparent or, make everything colorful. I learned to pictures look better when they bleed, that's because, it allows your corners to pop out. I changed the background color, the format, and made my words bolder. My slide is way much better than the beginning. Thank you for teaching me this information.
Based on the critiques I received I decided to make my slide have a little more light. The kid with the door was more than enough light in my opinion and after he was explained it seemed like others agreed, I just wanted to go with the first citiques I was given anyway. Researching before you even choose to began a slide it extremely important. I did learn the ¨One Slide One Point¨, but yet all of the images in my slide only adds up to one point. Others might say ¨No, it just looks creepy¨, that´s what I want! I want something that´ll attract your attention, also if they wanted to, the ¨One Point¨ could be creepiness or fear. I did research and not only did the website Zen say ¨One Slide One Point¨, it also says ¨Contrast the Rules¨, which I also tried to do. So something that I did learn is to be more clear when explaining my work.
I made my slide look the way it does because of the comments and suggestions I got from my members. Also, I researched more in depth about making a good slide. I basically changed my whole slide, it’s way different from the first one I did. I made sure that the color contrast with the background and that the text is big enough for people to see. Not only that but I chose that background because in one of the websites I researched it said that we should use colorful and eye appealing backgrounds, not just one color. In my first slide I cluttered everything together, things were just all over the slide. I think that I have learned a lot from what people said to me and the research I did. I was told that I should not line things up and I should not let my letters bleed. I think that what they told me was very useful, I learned a lot. Without research and people comments/suggestions you won’t be able to make a great slide. Thank you!
I found the feedback I got from my peers helpful but one of the things I couldn’t change were the images as I couldn’t find a high resolution picture of what I used in my first slide but I did do what I wanted to do and make it “bleed”. Another thing that was pointed out was that I had a bright green line that made it stand out and wanted more attention and also remove a bar I had the color black. Another thing I changed was I made a part of the text very small and the exclamation marks way big at first so now the part of the text is bigger and the exclamation marks smaller so it's more visible. One thing I didn’t notice until editing was that the boxes I colored for the slide showed the lines of the box so I fixed that so you don’t see the lines of the boxes.
