I have passion for recognizing where the boiling belly full of love is, 

You have the burnt remains of what used to hold everything beautiful,

You've been my cradle since birth, 

Somewhere that I can always call home, 

All space in your boiling belly for a black girl in need of home, 

Always leaving room for me even after all the struggles people stomp into your skin of soot. 

You are very much appreciated here. 

You are beautiful, 

Home too all the hurting brown boys wearing bullet proof skin, 

And the girls who can't find their way out of the maze in those boys minds, 

You've been my mother my entire life, 

Your street lights always my guide back to broken beauty,

You, 

West Philly always has room, 

Even with the over population of poverty, 

I try to save you with poetry, 

There is always room, 

You are nothing but a beautifully broken mother birthing boiling belly flu of love. 

My project is about crossing boundaries. I interviewed my mother on this topic. When we talked it ended up being about how the past affects her, the differences between old school & new school, and the issues of people young and old. It was all about her insight, views, and experiences with things through her own eyes.

This interview is about my Aunt and how she had a harsh mouth, and didn't have much sensitivity towards people. She talks about what caused her to be more sensitive and how she learned. 

My podcast is about the changes and difficulty of living in the world with only one ear and how my little sister overcame that obstacale.

My podcast focuses on my mother's journey to becoming an educator.  I admire my mother's hard work and determination and I hope you enjoy her story.

I investigated crossing the boundary to parenthood. To do this I interviewed my parents about life before their firstborn and life after their firstborn to see how they have change and how they would describe the change. 

Below is my podcast investigating the nature of society's culture and how it's changed due to technology. This podcast investigates the boundary that older people have had to cross into the modern world. 

This interview is about my mom and cousin talking about what happened when they got pregnant before they was married and how this could be crossing boundaries with their religion. We also had some deep emotion in this interview because not only did it effect their religious life but also their social life.

Racial prejudice is something that a lot of people have encountered throughout their lives. Each and every one of us are set to be equal and the same because we are one human race. We can't just judge others from what we see. This is a main issue that still exists in our society today. This podcast is about racial boundaries of my two middle school teachers and a friend of mine. They talked about their struggles and experiences dealing with race from their childhood until now. 

I interview my 8th grade english teacher and my dad on the topic on religion and how crossing boundaries can relate to that in many different ways. They explain thins through their stories.

Age is something that separates everyone therefore different age groups go through different experiences and struggles. Kids may seem to always be joyful and always happy but deep down inside, they feel restricted and they dislike so many things because of their age. This is the story of the life of my younger brother and all the things he went through. He talks about the complications he has and we do not have because of his age in general and also his age compared to his family.

Crossing boundaries in the classroom can be a very hard task to accomplish as a teacher. Developing your teaching style and still remaining as your own individual that you are accustomed to can be challenging for anyone. It's all about developing a relationship with your students.

My podcast talks about crossing the boundary of language as well as culture. As a sign language interpreter my mom has to stay on the boundary to keep accurate and honest translations.
