El título de la novela, es Harry Potter y el piedra filosofal y la autora es J.K. Rowling.  Es en el genero de fantasma.  Hasta ahora es trama es sobre un hombre se llama senor Dursley, su esposa, y so hijo.  sentar Dursley tiene un hermana, extraño y los Dursley's no le gustan.  Una día senor Dursley mira personas en capa y muchas lechuzas.   Pienso que los eventos tiene algo hacer con los Potters (la hermana de sentar dursley.  Me gusta el libro mucha, es suspension y interesante.  No es similar de mi vida pero no leo mucho, recomiendas por todos, o personas quien le gustan fantasma.

My friends always tell me I should rebel at least once, and it will let my mother know that she can't control everything that goes on in my life. They say I'm scared.

One, that logic doesn't make sense.
Two, I'm not scared, I'm smart.

 And ultimately, I love my sister too much to just leave her like that.


 I know that when i go to college that's going to be like leaving her too, but at least I can pick her up when I want, and take her places when I want, and show her the more free side to childhood.
 The childhood free to make mistakes and learn from them, and sleepovers, and summer nights, and all those things that I missed out on.

I learned how to turn a script into something appealing and enjoyable that will capture the attention of an audience that is around my age.
I think i did pretty well on my project, i think i could have included more pictures but i know i did a really good job on my script.
I would definitely start taking pictures earlier and make the pictures that are in the project more personal.
I did enjoy this project because it was different than just making an iMovie, it was really fun using Comic Life.

i really enjoy doing doing this project because my Spanish have improved a lot and i feel good about bout myself. i can't believe believe i have improve a lot, i feel like this was my best Spanish project ever. I think you should keep doing this project because i learned a lot from it, and i'm sure every one else enjoy it too.

What did you learn from doing this project? (skills, life lessons, words etc)  i learned how to use comic life and i learned how to talk about my morning in spanish

it's okay i wanted it to look different it didnt turn out the way i thought it would. i would have added more

add more work on my pronunciation edit better

i really  did i thought it was fun and i was able to explore programs that were new to me.

- this project made me kind of closer observe my daily routine and made me realize how people in different countries and of different languages would say it

- i like my final product, i think it went well, took a hill but overall i think it came together well

- if i did this project again i think that i would give more time and do my weekend schedule, because i think that it would be more entertaining and fun to watch and to see everyone elses!

    I those this topic for my NHD paper and project because it was always something that interested me. The struggle and debates that surround gay rights have changed and developed largely in my lifetime. I had learned a lot about those changes but I was intrigued by what happened before my lifetime that I had not yet known. It interested me deeply, so I chose to use gay rights as my topic. My group chose to do a website for our presentation because it was able to incorporate the most aspects possible. We chose to include a video of historical speeches, a Prezi interactive timeline, and a word analysis for each. These were best represented through a website.
    We were able to create an attractive website that effectively showed the debates through history of gay rights. This we did very well. We had an incredible amount of information and pages of primary and secondary sources. This we did very, very well. Where we went wrong was our lack of reading the specific guidelines in the website submission for National History Day. We failed to see the rules against embedding Prezi's and videos. We also exceeded the word restriction for the website. Had we deleted the Prezi and video, our project would not have been an effective way of representing our knowledge. From there, we made the decision to turn our website in for our school benchmark but adjust the video clips to eventually come up with a video representation of what we learned for the competition, within the documentary category instead. If I were able to do this project again, I would have made sure every single one of my group members read the guidelines thoroughly so that we would encounter this problem again. It was a minor setback, but a setback nonetheless. Otherwise, I would not have done anything else differently. I was very proud of the work my group produced.
    Through this project, I learned a large amount of information about the changes and debates around gay rights. I had known some previous knowledge but did not know as many specifics. I learned about Harvey Milk and all of his struggles as well as a copious amount of information about "Don't ask, don't tell" and the government's involvement in the evolution of gay rights. Through the creation of the presentation, I learned how to be flexible and adaptable because of our sudden changes in what we were to do to be able to submit to NHD. I also learned how well I worked with both of my group members throughout this project and how efficiently a project can be created, changed, and recreated when your partners are all on track and working hard.

Reflection:

For the project, we chose the topic on America's Impact Throughout the Ages and how America has had a part on how history played out in many events and the world today. We chose this topic because a while back my group came up with the thought about how the world would be like if America were to not have played a role in the world, and how their impact played parts on outcomes on events in history, and it seemed really interesting so we went for it. We chose doing it in a website because it was much easier to do and you could do many things in it: putting videos, adding pictures, having a whole website layed out for you. Also everyone in the group was very familiar with iWeb, so it was a bit less of a hassle to complete the benchmark. We never really ran into any problems with the project because we did everything pretty efficiently together and completed the project very nicely. Everything pretty much went well in the project. We had videos, pictures, explanations, it was pretty in depth, and we learned some things that we didnt know before. It was great project overall. A future consideration would be to maybe go more in depth in the explanations and such, and polish up the project a better, but overall our decisions and process were good. As a whole group, we learned many things we didnt know about events in history and America's impact. For me, I enjoyed this project very much. I learned SO much about the events that went on in the world, from what time period to what time period, who was involved, whether it was good or bad, and much more. I enjoyed the project. It was not only interesting but fun as well.

It turns out that this isn't a desert. It is the arctic tundra. All is well.

I often find myself wondering how my current situation would be had I not made the decisions that I have made in the past.  For example, what if I chose to go to a different high school instead of SLA? How would my past educational experiences differ in comparison?  Would I have learned all of the same things that I know now?

I also wonder how badly slacking off in eleventh grade would have affected me.  I know a few people that did terrible in eleventh grade that are now having a tough time getting into good colleges.  I also think back to how I have handled certain issues in the past and whether or not they were dealt with satisfactorily. 

I am a person who believes in good/bad karma and destiny.  I also think that all things happen for a reason.  I feel as though it was fate for me to attend SLA.  Had I not, I do not think that I would have experienced so much with personal relationships as well as deeper thinking.  SLA has definitely enlightened me on a broad spectrum.
