Often in my city, especially around my old house in North Philly, all I see is ugly. Trash is thrown everywhere, creeping weeds gnarled and thrusting themselves out of the concrete, and there is no sign of life. It made me sad to see only grey colors and brown colors and sometimes weird bright colors if the houses were painted differently. But lots of times I would see a sea of sadness and a lot of bored people with lost hope and nothing to do. People in urban areas do not get as much opportunities (and lots of them don’t have the means) to access land to help them self sustain themselves when it comes to produce and lots of times people don’t even know where to start. That is why I made my website. For all beginners who would like to bring a little more life and growth into their lives. A little more green and a little less grey. I feel like there could be so many benefits to growing plants, to start off, my website is featuring growing herbs and vegetables. Growing things like that ,especially if they’re perennials (plants that produce things every year) can benefit in so many ways. It’s not expensive, people can learn to be self reliant, and the education they will receive by growing their own plants is a reward all on its own. I even asked Dunda to use it as a source for her class. I’m very proud of my benchmark and the work I put in to it and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Thank God for the website. They also have magazines and different books published from them. They also have a range of chefs with different t.v shows, one of the famous t.v shows is called diners, drive-ins, and dives where Guy Fieri goes around and finds the best restaurants state to state.

The reason why I need herbs that are easy to grow is because the people that I am basing my audience on, even though I’m broadcasting it to everyone, I want to make sure that people who are just beginning have an easier time and a positive experience. It’s good to have easier subjects for people who want to start out. And in my opinion, herbs are the easiest thing to grow. You prune them to prolong “seeding” and then you keep pruning them as you need them and they grow fast. Good for anyone who wants a cute garden, or fresh herbs to cook with.

I chose this site for directions and for the picture. I grow chives myself and I can personally say that it was an easy and positive experience. I chose to include chives because they are easy to grow, sprouting in a week and not only are they easy, you can cut them as they grow. They replenish fast so it can save the grower money and a little seed produces a lot of plant. I also chose to include them in my project because they are flavorful and there are a lot of home-cooks who are interested in keeping a garden.

I chose this site because for every type of herb, vegetable, fruit, or even flower, I need a recipe for it. And I found this chive salmon dip and thought that it would be appropriate and cheap for the home cook/home grower to make. The herb would cost nothing if you grow it yourself, and the salmon is canned as well. Not only does it not cost a lot to make, the recipe actually gives you more servings than indicated so you actually get more for your buck than you think. This is why I chose this source, it was delicious and helpful.

This is probably my favorite source out of them all. This is called “Diapers Help Your Plants Grow” and it was uploaded by a youtuber who finds random projects to work on. In this certain situation, he uses a (new) diaper to help plants grow. He fills it up with water and then the takes out the stuffing and mixes it with the dirt. It makes potting soil light and fluffy and the reason for that is the cotton wadding gets wet and mixes up with crystals that can hold 500 times their weight in water. The reason why I decided to include this in interesting fines is because it’s environmentally friendly and produces good results in a weird way.

Un día, Pluto estaba flotando a través de espacio. Los planetas están en un "órbita permanente" (Cuando una planeta es en un "órbita permanente" no puede mover afuera de órbita).

Pluto era la último planeta buscando un lugar para sus órbita permanente y los otra planetas no le gustan a Pluto porque el es pequeño y el es en la lugar de ellos.

Los planetas es de un sistema solar y el es el rango mas bajo. El quere a vivir al lado del el sol pero los planetas no queren a Pluto para un vecino.

Sin embargo, una de las planetas le gustan a Pluto. Jupiter. Ella es una planeta grande, bonita, y verde. Todo a las planetas gustan a ella.

Ella no quera las otra planetas pero ella querían a Pluto. Pluto es muy simpática con ella. Pluto y Jupiter hablaron todo el día y todo el noche. Y por eso, se enamoraron.

Nada se sabia, que era un secreto. Pluto se quedó con Jupiter porque cuando la "órbita permanente" se trata, el querré a casar con ella para siempre. Uno lunes, Pluto y Jupiter estaban hablando y Mars se espiado.

"Te amo" dijo Jupiter.

"Te amo también mi reina" dijo Pluto.

Mars no le gustaba el hecho que Pluto y Jupiter están enamorado. Se dijo a los otras planetas.

Earth se pedió a Mars "¿Por qué no vas a dejar que ellos se enamoran?, Ellos no están molestando a mi."

"Calláte y deja me hablar!" dijo Mars. Mars no le gustaba cuando alguien se hablas cuando el esta hablando. "Vamos a engañarlo a Pluto. Vamos a decirle que si el querré a comprar Jupiter un regalo, el se necesita a andar afuera de el sistema solar y pasar Neptune."

Todo a los planetas se apoyaron a Mars excepto la planeta Earth.

Una semana mas tarde, Mars se hablo con Pluto.

"Hola amigo!" Mars le dijo.

Pluto ser muy confundido. "Amigo?"

"Si, escucha me por favor. Los planetas y yo sabemos que tu y Jupiter están enamorado."

Pluto siento miedo. Pero, no sabia que podía hacer. Mars le dio miedo pero Pluto decidió confiar a el.

"Yo sabe un lugar donde tu puedes comprar un regalo para Jupiter. Necesita a pasar Neptune, afuera de el sistema solar " dijo Mars.

Pluto escuchaba y paso Neptune pero no se encontró nada. Y quería dar la vuelta pero su cuerpo no se movió. El esta en el  "órbita permanente". No puede mover. Pluto no es al lado de el sol. Pluto era frío. Muy muy muy frío. El no le gustaba los lugares fríos. Dias pasaron, semanas pasaron y Pluto era frío frío frío. Después, Pluto se murió.

Jupiter pedio a Mars:

"Donde esta Pluto?"

Mars le dijo que Pluto salió a explorar en espacio y no se devuelto.

Mi nombre es Silvana, soy una niña de Chile. Yo valore gentes que es honesta, por que ustedes vale la pena. Mi experiencias en mi vida era muy peligrosa porque soy una niña pobre. Soy una niña pobre y no tengo una mamá y mi papá trabaja mucho para mi y porque nosotros no tenemos muchos dinero. Yo creo que, necessita a vivir su vida y la vida es mas mejor con un bote de leche. *Wink wink* OH, y estoy muerto. `

En mi época, los gentes de la clase alta y la clase obrera es muy differente y los gentes tienen mucho choque.

Para mi, veo una mujer que no tiene autoestima. Ella es gordo, como una vaca, entonces ella es grande con muchos colores.Como yo lo entiendo, la reflexión en el espejo es la persona que la mujer se quería ser. Veo una mujer que no tiene feliz con su cuerpo.  Estoy de acuerdo porque yo soy una niña que queres un cuerpo bonita como los mujeres de la clase alta. La cara de la mujer sería muy triste.

Para la mujer, su colores es muy llanura. Es muy luz y la cara es llanura también. La reflexión tienen colores apagados como una mujer sexy, como una mujer que tiene muchos botes de leche.

El tono es muy deprimente. Muchas niñas se sienten mal con sus cuerpos y pueden relacionarse con esta obra.

En Chile 9/11/1973 soldados tienen un golpe de estado. Los soldados y la líder Pinnochet se mataron la Presidente de Chila: Salvador Allende. Pinnochet tomar poder y se derrocar Allende. Las noticias dicen que Allende se suicidarse pero yo creo que Pinnochet se mato.

La tensíon entre de la clase alta y la clase obrera es muy ovio. Los soldados ven a mi casa y me mato. Y que lleguen a mi papa y nosotros lloramos. Falto a mi papá. Papá…me mataron con un shotgun en mi corazon.

El espejo representan la persona que la mujer quere ser. El espejo es inutil porque no ayudan la autoestma de la mujer. El mensaje de esta obra es:Mujeres no son satisfechos con su cuerpos. El espejo muestra las fallas en una persona. Y esto de acuerdo. El internet no me dice porque pero Picasso es muy atrevida. Y la obras de Picasso se conoce como erótico.

Cuando yo ser una niña chiquita, quería ser una mujer muy bonita. Para mi, una princessa es muy importante y muy bonita y quería ser uno. Yo quería un pecho grande y un cuerpo como in model. Pero, soy un niña pobre y muerto, entonces pero eso no tiene sentido. Yo ví los mujeres de la clase alta y sientí mal porque no soy como ellas.

Me siento malo. To tengo una vida, no tengo una familia, no puedo vivir porque estoy muerto. No puedo crecer como las otra niñas.

Calle 13 es un grupo de tres personas. Es un grupo puertrorriqueño. René Pérez Joglar es el cantante/rapper y escribe las letras. El hermanastro de el es Eduardo José Cabra Martínez (cantante,musica,instrumentos). La hermanastra es Ilena Cabra Jogar (cantante detras). La musica de Calle 13 es honesta y provocador. René se dice cosas que nadie puede decir. Esta canción trata de los immigrantes que no necesita ayuda con el movimiento. Se trata de la fuerza de los immigrantes. Los immigrantes son la clase obrera. El tono de la instrumentación es hispano. Es desafiante y unido. Y es una manifestación. Los vocals de tras dice “aaah” cuando René se canta. Y symbolico la fuerza y esperanza de los immigrantes. Y los vocals se cantan cuando René se habla sus letras y symbolico immigrantes unidos. La temas son La inmigración, latin americanos, los pobres y ricos, el gobierono, la clase alta, y la clase obrera.

The movie “Think Like A Man” campares to “Taming of the Shrew” in many ways when it comes to deceit and the mindset of both genders. In TOTS there are two fair maidens. The youngest sister Bianca is a beautiful woman that all the men want. Her older sister Kate is beautiful also, but since she has a foul mouth and speaks her mind, no man wants her. While men begin to dress as other people to win Bianca, they can’t because her father will not let her marry till Kate is married. A man with his mind on his money makes a deal with the men and tries to win Kate over in a mental battlefield. He tries to make her think he loves her, then turns into a completely different man. In the movie “Think Like A Man” is a tale of 5 different stories with 5 different type of relationships. With 5 types of men and 5 types of women. All 10 battling it out in the battlefield and mental game of love, both use a book of knowledge written by Steve Harvey. The women use it to get inside the mens heads (without the men knowing) to get what they want. The men use the same book (the women don’t know) to make the women believe that they are falling right into their plan when in reality they’re just playing around to get what they want. Love is something shared between two people, but marriage and relationships are all about control.

This is Petruchio talking to himself about what he is going to say to Kate. He is giving himself a peptalk on how he is going to woo her under his control and make her think he loves her.

This is “The Dreamer”. He is going for “The woman who is her own man”. Being a “dreamer” he knows that he really doesn’t have enough money to meet her standards. So he uses the car to give her the idea that he is rich to catch her interest and then reel her in.  This connects to TOTS because one of the main characters, Lucentio, dresses up as a teacher to get close to Bianca. Since her father wants Kate to marry first, he is keeping all suitors away from Bianca except for her teachers.

This shows kate losing the mental game that her and petruchio are both playing. She decides to submit to him.

In this picture, it displays the friends of the Dreamer and The Woman who is her own man. In the end of the movie, she realizes that love is not a game and she doesn’t want the money or fame. The dreamer ended up getting busted and the relationship was rocky. Even though he was not rich, he tried his best to make it seem like he had all the luxurious things. In the end, the “Woman who is her own man” came to him in the end and submitted saying that she doesn’t want all these luxurious things, she just wants him. She’s letting him be the man and be in control of their relationship. They just witnessed it and are surprised that she changed her mind.

In this picture, Megan Good plays a girl who always sleeps with the guys who don’t want to be in a commited relationship. In this picture she is buying a book. She uses it to think like a man. Making her boyfriend think that she isn’t aware of his games. But then he ends up using the book to trick her into making her think that he doesn’t know what she is doing as he follows along.

Both the book and the play show the mindsets of the natures of relationships that even relate to today. In the battlefield of love is a major struggle of power between the male and the female and the deceitful tactics are just used to get into each others heads. When it comes to love movies and stories, pay attention closely and there will always be a leading role whether it is male or female and there will always be a mental reign.
