A Tradition

​Ever since I was young, it's been a tradition in my family to cut down the christmas tree. I don't mean bring one home from the neighborhood lot on the corner, either. We would actually go out and cut down our own tree. On the way we would stop by peddlers village and get some delicious apple cider and check out the ginger bread house competition. I may have little need to stop in on santa or the easter bunny at the local mall, but this is one holiday tradition that I don't want to give up.

Eso es una pintura de Paul Sierra. Paul Sierra es de Cuba. Yo escogía la pintura por que es muy interesante. Me gusta los colores brilliantes y el mensaje, humor en fallecimiento: vida y muerte es un chiste. Yo seré  interpretación de Fidel Castro.

Mi Nombre es Pedro Machuca y vivo en un pequeño pueblo con mi mamá y mi hermanito. Mi mamá trabaja muy fuerte pero somos muy pobre clase obrera personas. El gobierno es socialista y somos nada a ustedes. Chile es en un revolución, destrozado por comunismo y socialismo. Mi familia sostenemos comunismo, por que haría todos personas igual con no división de clases.  Odio que la clase de alta pensan son mejor tanto nosotros por tenemos dinero mas.  
Esto es una pintura por Joan Miró. Me gusta la pintura porque representa un fuerte mujer trabajadora, pero ha regate (regatear) por tiempo y pobreza. El mujer en la pintura miro mi mamá. Los colores son oscuro pero suave, hacen el tono de la obra tranquilo.

Esta obra de arte es bien. Los colores son apogado pero dijó un cuento. No se por que pinta de esta cuentos porque el es de un familia muy rico, y esta cuentos de son los trabajadores y la clase obrera.

It Exists!

This fabled happiness is real! It lurks within you, barely contained, sitting in a small chair awaiting some external stimuli to let it loose. It was never meant for such a sedentary existence.
When said catalyst makes itself known and the confines holding this marvelous emotion are broken, it overwhelms. It drowns. It floods. It skips animatedly within your veins and must make itself known to all those around you.
It is a fidgety bliss that was never content with stillness.

Should one find themselves overcome with such feelings, I recommend running barefoot down the sidewalk on a chilly evening. Though I warn this jog does nothing to dampen the effects of the feeling, it merely makes one bearable to their family.

​Saturday night I got a rejection letter. I told my best friend Joyce (who is basically like my older sister) about it Sunday night and she said she would give me a little luck and wish me some too. She was sure I would get something better. I got home today and looked in the doorway. There was a giant envelope with congratulations printed across it. I got in to another university instead. Joyce truly sent me luck. Now I hope it last long enough to get the schol I have really been working hard for.

     Me llamo Salvador Allende, y soy el presidente de Chile. Quiero un sistema mas igual y justo para la clase obrera. Entonces estoy introduciendo una forma del Socialismo.
     En la pintura, veo muchas colores oscuros, con amarillo brillante en el fondo. Veo unos rejos y parecen que están deshaciendo con el calor. El paisaje parece muerto porque no hay vegetación. Hay algo que parece un animal muerto o durmiendo. Creo que el animal representa una persona pobre de la clase obrera quien esta demasiado cansado para seguir. Los relojes representa el realidad que no tenemos tiempo infinitivo para hacer lo que queremos hacer. El paisaje representa el futuro para este animal, que va a morir como la vegetación. El luz en el fondo representa la memoria, cuando cosas no fueron tan difícil.
     Para mi representa el término en oficina. Cuando empezó tenia el soporto de mi país y el Unidad Popular, pero ahora hay protestaciones y etemtos en un revolución. Creo que mi tiempo se está ejecutando hacia fuera.

How Good....

I didn't know how good this would be, until I got here now I never want to let you leave. We had had some good times on those tiny little islands and hanging out on the beach. It was you and me and me and you all summer. We were in Miami Beach, in Collins Ave, living the good life and living it fast. Steady sipping mojito's and patron margaritas. I was always wasted, and you were wasted too. I loved being wasted and the things that it made us do. Every time you called me baby, I thought about us making a few. Then we would be on our way to Jamaica too. Living the life, living it nice. When you were living with me, you were living life right. 

Fire?

My dad and I roasted a chicken on Sunday night.  The skin was crisp enough to evoke a fried chicken reaction.  The golden brown color perfectly complimented the glistening meat.  There were only two other ingredients, salt and thyme, but they added more flavor than any marinade could.  The meat was tender and juicy; I've never been fond of dry birds. The aroma filled the entire house and I can still smell it.

My ears haven't stopped ringing since.  You see, we have a sensitive fire alarm.  My dad and I spent the entire 2 hours fanning the doors, but the meal was worth it!

Este Obra de arte es por “Sixeart” (Sergio Hidalgo Parades), un artista de calles en españa. Empezó su trabajo en calles, como un artista de graffiti. Ahora, trabajo con los lienzos. Me gusta el arte de calles, y pienso que la sofisticación de sus obras es muy differente y nuevo. Utiliza imaginería de violencia con temas de niñez, y colores muy brilliantes. Este pintura es de una familia de los osos. Sixeart tienen carácteres que son animales, pero pienso que las temas son universales.

"Woman with Shawl," by David Alfaro Siqueiros
Me escogí ese pictura porque le era muy simplista. Me gusta la obra de arte por David Alfaro Siquieros, un artista de México. Este pinto tiene muchos colores y me gusta que la mujer tiene mucho textura sin muchos trazos de pincel. Esta pintura colabora elementos de dos diferente tipos de arte como surrealismo y abstracto.

Escoji esta obra porque es mi favorita de El Greco. Es uno de sus obras que son simple. Los detalles son muy bien echo y las pinceladas son intrincada. No se mucho de la vida de El Greco pero se que la mayoría de sus pinturas son religiosas. El recrea los eventos que pasaron con jesucristo. Me gusta como los diferentes niveles son pintado con diferente pinceladas. También comp los colores de mas arriba son oscuro y los debajo son brillante.

​Unfortunately I must bring up the train wreck that is Charlie Sheen. It astounds me how much money he has made spouting complete nonsense. If i can get radio access maybe i should randomly shout crazy things for profit.
