Betrayal

It happened a few years ago I can still remember like it was yesterday, Amber and I went to Shadow’s end of the year party, Omg it was so great everyone was dancing, drinking, and just having a ball; and I felt a little dizzy so I went upstairs to get away from all the ruckus that was going on, an hour later I heard footsteps and when I looked up it was him, are you ok he asked me, I feel much better now I replied, In my head I’m thinking omg shadow is here with me like we’re alone in a room like omg, I know you are wondering like who the hell is Shadow and why am I acting the way I am, well how can I put it, Shadow is like the most popular guy in SLA like every girl who’s a somebody wants to be with him even the nobodies wants to be his girlfriend, so now you know why I’m tripping but the problem is he’s Amber ex and she’s my best friend so I can’t like him, but the truth is I’ve been in love with Shadow ever since the first day of freshman year, when he was walking down the hall I got one glimpse of him and that was it, I was love struck, anyways he was never interested in me at least that’s what I thought until a few minutes ago when he told me that I was pretty and touched my face.

70% Chance

I recently discovered, that my pets have a 70% chance of dying (early). I've had a total of 10 pets my first being a lizard, whose name was Fluffy. I got him when I was three. He had a brief life of about 10 months, since my mom never fed him. My later pet was a cat, named Lucky. We had him for about 4 weeks, until he ran away and got hit by a car. My third pet was my cat, Nip who I got when I was five. She is still alive today, which surprises me because she seems to never eat and always gets into fights with stray cats. The next animal I had was a hermit crab named, Ginger. Ginger lasted for about 2 months, until Nip ate her. Nip also ate my fish, who I had for 1 hour and didn't have enough time to name. Nip also ate these two Lizards I had. I was very upset, so the next animal I got was something Nip couldn't eat. It was a cat. Her name was Ceaser. She is fat and still alive. In 4th grade I got a dog. His name was Tanner. He was vicious and had to be put down because my mom was afraid he would kill somebody.  In 6th grade I got a new dog. Her name is Oreo. She is not vicious and still alive.

Ginger - died
Lucky -died
2 Lizards - died
Fish- died
Nip - still alive
Fluffy - died
Ceaser - still alive
Tanner- died
Oreo- still alive

Need A Friend

Once there was a young girl named Pariah, so beautiful that she was envied by all the other maidens of the land, the magnificently beautiful young girl longed for a friend so badly, a girl, someone she could learn from, talk to, not like all the boys who confronted her with desirous eyes and saw her for nothing more then their dream wife, not because she was a great cook or because she sang lovely enough to make even the sea cry, but because of her graceful unintentional beauty; she wished ever so often to be plain, normal, she even prayed, prayed hard and long that the gods wouldn't reject her the way the girls did or want her simply for her façade, and then it happened, on the least anticipated but always prepared for moment, she was answered, as if the god’s had heard her cries and send her a friend; a young lady even more beautiful then she, her hair was ebony black and flowed never endingly down her back and eyes of a color so strange it was hypnotizing, her name was Jasline, and she spoke with an Angelique tone each time she opened her perfect shaped lips, but even at her extraordinary appearance, Pariah had no sense of undertone jealousy towards Jasline, In fact she sympathized with her subconsciously because she knew, If no one else how it felt to be discriminated solely based on looks; the two lovely young ladies instantly bonded and became the best of friends.

Stephanie Marie: A One Sentence Story

Although Stephanie Marie was an uncommon woman (she liked football, plopping down on her couch for hours every Sunday and Monday night- NFL or college; it didn't matter- and charcoal-grilled steak each night for herself on a well-rusted grill that had been given as a early birthday present by her father two months before he died), the more he got to know her, the more predictable she became in the way she lived her life, as if it had not changed in almost five years to the day -the night she had gambled with her life by stepping into the unmarked car of a stranger, not knowing where he would take her or what he would do with her; she returned a changed woman and when she woke up every morning at 7:13 (a time that was somehow ingrained into her brain), needing 13 minutes to fully wake up from the moment she opened her eyes to the time she stepped into the shower, which was always set to the most blisteringly scalding temperature the rusty dial allowed and lasted until every drop of warmth had washed down the drain, she would eventually find herself standing in her underwear in front of her closet, picking the same shirt she had worn the day before (she had bought her entire wardrobe at Macy’s in a single trip, two days after that fateful night) in a different color, a pair of grey or black slacks that would not draw attention to her uncomfortably wide hips and heels that were “practical, yet sophisticated” as she liked to say, she knew that she could never return to the fickle, carefree child she had once been.

Harrison's 256-word-sentence story.

Once upon a time, and quite a time it was-- a not too terrible time, a time in which there existed not violence nor war nor murder nor lies nor death nor hate nor the word “moist”, but rather a more desirable time, one with a more peaceful disposition, one in which there existed no solids nor liquids nor gasses, which is, perhaps, to say that there existed nothing as we, humanity, perceive existence-- there was a being; moreover, this being was not a very manly being, which is, of course, to say that this being was not a man, and this being was not quite a womanly being, which is, of course, to say that this being was not a woman, but this being existed as a genderless being, a godly being, one living beyond any fathomable boundaries that exist for humanity, a being that, if asked by me, Harrison, what it thought about Earth in the year 2011, would say, “well, Harrison, you question asking human you, so bound by your physical form, your perception of existence, I would answer your question, but I’m afraid, good sir, honest sir, that I just don’t give a damn,” a being comprised solely of peace and positive energy, a being that was not light nor dark nor tall nor short nor good nor bad, a being that lived not in one time nor one place, but a being that quite simply lived, a being that quite simply existed, a being, if you will, that quite simply was.

Veronica (250 Word Sentence)

Veronica was a girl that I will never get off of my mind, a girl that I am obsessed with, well not obsessed, but a girl that I can't deny is taking over my thoughts; she is everything - perfect, flawless, beautiful, stunning, phenomenal in every way, charming, fascinating, seductive and illusive, misunderstood but craved, a girl who knew what she wanted and knew how to get it, a girl that everyone loved who wasn't sure of love herself, a girl that was the center of attention who could escape off on her own at any second - she came into my life and disappeared, vanished like she was never even there, before i got to tell her - tell her that "i can't lose you, i cherish you more than anything and I will take care of you if it is the last thing I do," and she needed to know that I would never hurt her like I know she has been hurt before - i knew who she was before she even knew my name, but she left without knowing who I was - a quirky, sometimes awkward girl that was never comfortable with who she was, but would never truly admit it, a girl that loved too much too fast, but would never accept that anyone would ever love her back - I may never get to see her again and she may never know my name or who I am, but I will never forget those words she said to me as she walked away, "hey girl, i love you too."

The unachivable 250 words (and the universe)

Writing something like two hundred and fifty words is something that is just completely, utterly insanely, unachievable to ever take place in the whole entire world or maybe even in the whole universe, but that is only possible if it is true that there is other life out there is the mysterious dark space that we just seemingly float through every single day of our lives while rotating around a giant star (that people believe most of the time will blow up and some how destroy us all) with out a single darn care about it at all, then again it is completely possible that there is other life out the because the universe is just that the freaking UNIVERSE after all going on and on and on for infinity immeasurable distance beyond the possible realm of our imagination with in our minds and brains can even handle or even comprehend or that even the most amazing advanced computer could even break down into a sequence of numbers that would some how be understandable in some for of a way, but then again all of this about the universe and how vast it is very much beyond my topic of how unachievable it is to even achieve speaking in one single perfectly, flowing, grammatically correct sentence that works well making sense and clearly explains a story in a perfect understandable way to the reader of it as they go about reading your ideas, but then again it could be something achievable in some way to happen since after all I just wrote two hundred and sixty eight words so maybe it is possible to go about writing a even longer sentence and maybe now I will have to try to write one, one day...

The Girl I'll End Up Becoming

I used to look at myself in the mirror and wonder if I would end up being that girl that masks my face in make-up paired with a mini skirt and a too revealing tank top and over accessorized with over sized chunky meaningless jewelry; the kind of girl that copies her friends with activities that every parents would shake their hands and wag their fingers to, the kind of girl that knows for a fact that mimicking a clique is not quite her thing, but does it anyway because she was never taught to take a stand and be herself, or would I end up being the girl who does not quite know who she is and decides to wear black pants, black shirts, black hair, black lipstick, black everything - the girl who wears black until she finally realizes that the sun actually shines and black does not reflect quite well on it so finally I end up being the girl who discovers that there are actually fashion guides on every newsstand, billboard, and the 1980’s yearbook that was lost in my mothers’ boxes labeled “The Golden Days,” and with each new discovery I end up being the girl who dresses with a modern classic twists inspired by Lady Gaga and Twiggy (two complete different generations and styles but together make me look like I have actually found what individuality looks like), with loads of mascara to make my eyes look like huge elaborate circles on butterfly wings, with a classic black cropped cardigan, bold shoulders and rhinestones in a floral pattern, and under it a button down ruffle shirt tucked into carrot top pants and beautifully shines nude pumps that screams “I’m classy but not in the classic way!” and finally I put my hair in a high messy bun with dangling pearl earrings; this is when I look at myself in the mirror once again and I, after what seems like years of trying to identify who I am, I finally recognize my own reflection; I know longer wonder what type of girl I will end up becoming, because I have finally found her.

Crazy Obsessed Sample Lyrics

Just a sample of some lyrics I wrote...

So I guess I’m just another stranger to you,
Come on, come on,
Just admit it.
You’ve got this sinister smile, I know.
Come on, come on.
Just forget it, just forget it.

Never again, let’s never, do this again.
Never again, let’s never, do this again.

(I must confess that I, I feel suppressed, when it comes to this, when it comes to us. I must admit that I just can’t commit, to this. I am, I am, I am, I am crazy obsessed)

So I keep on telling myself that it’s just a mind game,
And we’re all the same,
But somehow, it doesn’t work out that way.
No, it’s much more than we’ve ever imagined,
So come on, come on.
So come on, come on.
What are you waiting for?

(I must confess that I, I feel suppressed, when it comes to this, when it comes to us. I must admit that I just can’t commit, to this. I am, I am, I am, I am crazy obsessed)

The awesome planet :P

*It's a pretty crappy, but read it :P

In a world far, I mean faaaaaaar away (this place is so far that it is probably not on earth, in fact it is light years away, yet it looks exactly like our world, but cooler, and it was called “The awesome Planet” because everyone wore awesome clothes and nobody is an ass, so it is awesome) there lives a world where everyone is at peace, and everyone loves everyone because nothing can hold them back, but other than that they also have people who have the ability to kick ass, and the best thing about it was that they had a kick ass villain fighting group( unlike those people in spandex that we see in comics on our world, they were real and they could do whatever they wanted; anyone who dares not live in this peaceful world will face getting their ass kicked by this awesome group, but what is the name of this awesome group; it’s “the awesome kick ass fighters”)this group would go on adventures and save the day when the super kick ass phone beeps, and then the heroes jump into action (cause they can spring into action- that’s uncool), to go defeat enemies, but when it comes to the enemies they fight it’s no laughing matter, and they had good reasons to be serious when it comes to their enemies, from werewolves, to evil scientist, and bad ass demons, but do not fear cause the Kick ass villain fighters (or the KAVF) will be ready to save the day, and maybe even come to our world to make it kick ass too.

Story #3

Waking up in a morning looking at my clock noticing that I was an hour late left me frightened. I jumper in the shower and prepared myself for school. Being on my 7th strike, I was never so motivated in my life to get to school on time to avoid Saturday detention. After I was dressed I headed out the door and realized my poor puppy didn’t eat breakfast. I ran back in the house dumped some food in his bowl and poured water without looking. Now because of my morning rush my puppy has to eat soggy food. I power-walked to the bus stop and got a message from my sis asking me was I ready for school. I looked at the time the message was sent and remembered I set my clock forward 45 mins to watch a show I was anxious for the night before…

Work

My internet was down last night, but here it is:

Work is annoying
it's tiring and crude
The people around me
are also rude
Plus I don't like their attitude
They argue and yell
And the customers are exactly the same
But in the end
The check makes work
A little less lame :P

Story #3 Fingers of Fire

When I was about 8 my family and I were down the sure visiting a bunch of other family members. during this time I was left upstairs alone with two slightly older cousins (age 10) while playing my game they started looking around the apartment type room we were staying in and they found and started playing with my moms lighter. Being how I was i snatched it back from them because "touching mommy's lighter is bad" while grabbing it back Tim (one of the aforementioned boys) accidentally turned the lighter on and I burnt my hand and ran to the kitchen sink. Although no serious damage was done I was pretty dramatic at the time and my mom was proud of me when she heard the story.

Night Shift

"Closing Time!" Susan shouted. She and I had been the only workers here at the local donut shop today. I've been waiting to leave every since I arrived 9 o' clock this morning and being asked to stay until 11 didn't help much , but hey I could use the extra money. While counting the register profit for the day I couldn't help but notice the man sitting at the corner table. It was normal for the donut shop to have late customers stay until closing, but this customer was different. He's been here since 8 o' clock and has been reading the same Metro News Paper since he arrived. When I went to serve his table earlier we chatted for a few minutes and then he said that he just moved to the area yesterday, so I figured he was waiting for a ride or someone to meet him. So I left the conversation there. He seemed to like our donuts because his constant yelling of my name "Rosa!" was him ordering a different donut every call. "Hey, can you tell the gentleman over there that we have to start closing." Any other time I would be hesitant to kick anyone out of our shop because of business, but after almost a 12 hour shift I was more than glad to escort him out.

"Excuse me sir we're about to start closing my manager said you have to leave" I said as polite as possible. "Do you think I could stay here about 5 more minutes? My ride is almost here" I guess 5 more minutes couldn't hurt I thought. I couldn't help but say yes. My manager wasn't happy about the decision but she understood. About a minute later another gentleman entered the donut shop. He wore a navy blue peacoat with a suit case in one hand , and a umbrella in the other. He didn't look like he was from here. "Excuse me ma'am do you know where the nearest pharmacy is located?" he asked. Before I could get a word out the man who sat in the corner yelled,"There's a Rite Aid on 5th and Olney, another off Front st, and a CVS about 5 minutes North." "Thankyou" the man said as he left the donut shop. I stared at the man in the corner for a few seconds, if he wasn't from around here how does he know where these places are. I didn't dwell on the issue it was just a thought I had carried.

About 3 minutes later the man finally left the donut shop leaving his Metro Paper behind, I assume his ride was here. I went to pick up his news paper to throw in the trash, I looked at the date. "January 3, 2011" it said. Now this was weird, he's reading a month old Metro as if it was the newest issue, did he realize that it was old? This thought was stuck in my mind for the rest of the night. " I almost thought we had to force the man out of the place" Susan happily said. We both walked out the donut shop and I waited with Susan while she put the gates down. "Can you help me with this one?" Sue said struggling. I went to help Susan pull the gate down and out of nowhere I felt a chill through travel through my spine. I felt the heavy breathing of someone easy down the back of my neck as I tried to close the gate. Before I could turn around I heard a familiar voice whisper, "Excuse me Rosa..." As I spun around I was looking down the barrow of a gun and behind that gun was no other than the man that sat in the corner.Susan panicked an he forced us back into the donut shop, I suppose to avoid attention from the few people on the street he did this, I see this all the time on "48 Hours of Mystery".He ordered us to the back of the donut shop where he tracked us with the pistol at all times. As the 3 of us were in the back I immediately thought that I wouldn't be leaving this place for a long time.

Raging Rapids

Last year, I had the opportunity to travel to the Grand Canyon. I got to connect with some kids from my school and I also got to meet new people. At night we would sleep under the stars, camped out on the bank of the Colorado River; and during the day we would white water raft, taking occasional breaks to play a game of ninja.  It was a great trip; however, one day the rapids were unusually violent – tossing our paddle boats at will. My boat had the most experienced rowers, so we were able to maintain control, albeit while narrowly avoiding a large jagged rock in the middle of the river. However, the others weren’t so lucky. We looked up to see several of our classmates floating down the river. Luckily, we didn’t panic and we were able to get our classmates to safety, while rescuing the majority of our equipment that had gotten lost in the struggle.

Contradiction(for 2/8/11)

feelings for you are contradiction
goes right along with my  affliction
and it shows im so in love with you

let me explain the first reason
listening to my self is a treason
its because you make me feel so sad
you make me feel so happy sad
and although I'm glad your alive
your existence is torture
while my love is a scorcher
and i know
yes i know
i know you don't know a thing

Nightly Routine

Even though I'm so tired and I feel like I have no energy left I just can't get off the phone, and maybe I don't want to get off. Every time we talk my body awakens to the sound of his voice. My ears become addicted to the sweet sound of the deep vibrations coming from his mouth. He has the type of laugh that makes me want to laugh. Sometimes we are just on the phone for hours not talking, but just knowing that he is on the other end of the phone is good enough for me. The silence is then broken by the first verse of "Part of the List". I close my eyes and I imagine him right there in front of me singing. A smile starts to appear on my face and my body sways to the words that are leaving his mouth and entering my ears. Before I know it it's morning and I can't wait until 10:00 so it can happen again. :)

Fades (for 2/7/11)

The permanent marker fades, just as the sun sets. Memories die just ad metal rusts, and although we try, all too often love dies just as we die. But I think we shall live again, just as the sun will shine again.

One life is valuable in a moment and not.  It fades......it fades away

one cent more and im brought to the floor. They took so much, they can’t take much more. Death comes to meet me and I sigh. Lost competently im not afraid to die,

And I only say what I don’t mean because I mean things that I can’t say
so let me fade  away, but I'll be back again someday

If only I could go back in time

This is a different me

Not the fearful and childish kid

That once broke your heart

Without caring how you feel

I know is hard to believe

That a person like me could change

But losing you made me realize

That love could still exist

If only I could go back in time

Everything would have been better

We could have been together

Busy day.

Today started around 7 30 am, a first happened. Rushing to get to school in my car, I was going pretty fast down 22nd to get to school for our DA shadowing that we had today because we won first place in one of the debate tournaments. All of a sudden, I heard a cop siren behind me but couldn't identify where it was coming from, so I kept driving through lanes to get past the bus. All of a sudden an unmarked black car came up beside me as we drove down one of the streets, pulled down his window and cursed at me. It was funny now looking back because an undercover police officer told me to "calm the F down" and then drove away. I was lucky enough to not get a ticket and I assume part of that had to do with the tie and dress shirt I chose to wear for the shadowing day.
