Mystery of the Economy

I am choosing this type issue because I think I should know what government  invested into my money. But not only me but also all people should know. Also to better my self in the world to not make the same mistake some American did with our economy

Their are still things I don’t know like why is it so messed now and who is to blame? There are things people post on the Internet like government dose this with our money and that but I can’t tell if it’s real or not. Its just 1 big rumor going around.

So far in my research about this topic I have l learned is the economy of the United States is the world's largest national economy.  The U.S. economy also maintains a very high level of output per capita. In 2009, it was estimated to have a   per  capita of $46,381, the 6th highest in the world. The U.S is the largest trading nation in the world. Its three largest trading partners as of 2010 are Canada, China and Mexico. That’s all I know the basic of what they do.

I still need to find the basic of what they do but I know I wont have ahorzation to all  people manage to slip some info out but I will  do more work on  my research .

daily story- may 5

Today is my third day in grade recovery. The only work I have to do is for this class, so I'm english-ing it away up here in ms pahomov's room... I'm stuck on my essay. I have an outline but its not very organized and I'm clueless as to where to start... Listening to my itunes on shuffle... kind of bored. Maybe I'll just word puke onto a word doc and see if I get anything worth using :/

Cuteness Ends at Age 19

Growing up I've always been referred to as cute or adorable or any other synonyms that pop into your head. My smile is my best asset. Even at age 10 I still could get anything I want by flashing it. But now at age 19 I don't want to be referred to as adorable. I don't mind letting my smile get me through the door but I want my intelligence to keep me inside it.

A Day in the Life: South Korea

Here it is

Reflection:
I'm really surprised that the lives of these twelve year-old's are so organized and planned out. It is so structured that even their lives at home have to have some kind of order to them for when they wake up in the morning. I'm also surprised that so much of the time they have is spent studying that they don't really have the time to do anything else that they really want to do. This was very different from when I was twelve. Then I went to school and did my homework, but besides that, I just did whatever I felt like doing. Their lives seem more intense than mine is even now. I'm wondering if the information I found was for the best schools in the country as opposed to most of them.

Quarter 4 - Art Portfolio

This quarter we had specific expectations and drawings that were needed. We had to create a sculpture out of any materials, take up to 200 photos but edit at least 3, interpret/recreate a famous artist's creation, draw from outside, and draw a bike using line drawing, negative space, and shadow.

The points that I found difficult for me were the bikes, because I didn't really know how to use shadow space and negative space. The idea was to capture the right amount of lighting and taking in exactly what you see and not what you want to see.

Overall art as been an amazing experience. Learning new techniques, different ways to do things, and also creating objects from recycled materials. I could use all these techniques for future projects in case in college I decide to major or minor in art.

My drawing from outside. I decided to do the Ben Franklin Bridge going into Philly. It's not completely finished because it would have taken more time and more detailed. But this is just in general the outline of what it would look like.

My sculpture I decided to make out of clay. The first sculpture is a heart with a peace sign in it. The second one is a flower.

Me and the World- The Energy Crisis cont.

There is a new source of energy out there and it can soon be made affordable. It is all around us and it is very numerous. It's algae. Algae, like us they can gain weight. That fat that they grow on them is could be a great biofuel.

Democracy, why is it important? Who wants it? Who has it? #2

5/5/11
In further research, I discovered that some countries are divided and have different opinions on democracy. For example, Arabs and Muslims have a very different view on democracy. Most Arabs take to the idea of "democracy" and wouldn't mind having a bit more freedom. On the other hand, Muslims disagree. The religion of Islam is an authoritative religion, so as a result, having control over one's own decisions is a bit "iffy". I also learned that Democracy is proliferating and as time goes by.

I am beginning to move into the Asian population and what I have noticed is that some nations are democratic-ish or just all communistic or socialistic. In North Korea, Kim Jong il is the dictator/ruler. I have heard stories about how punishments are given to people who do not comply with his way. In my research, these stories held to be true. In South Korea, they have more of a democratic society, they have a president who had to be voted in. The difference between these two naions is staggering, they differ and dissagree with theyre governmental issues. In North Korea if one doesn't bow when they see a picture of Kim Jong il they get arrested. Someone should not be arrested for not "bowing". That's demeaning, In America people don't have to bow. This is another reason why I'm studying this topic because  it brings me anger. It may sound weird but I like the challenge it brings my emotions.

No, I'm Not Going To Eat The Yellow Squishy Kernels On My Plate, Mom

You know that warm blueberry muffin with melted butter permeating the insides you had this morning? Along with cheesy scrambled eggs? And the pork bacon that accompanied the two? And don't forget about cranberry juice you accidentally spilled on your white shirt that made you late for work. Well, guess what. All of these delicious things had the vegetable you hated as a kid in it, corn.

Yup, you've been getting your vegetables in your stomach for quite a long time now. But, don't get excited because although you've been eating corn without knowing, they've been altered to be used in all those things, which takes away from it's nutrience. But, don't worry about it, it's just a starch anyway.

Corn is in drinks, food, and even meat. This crop is America's number one grown for a reason. Corn sweetens drinks, such as the Coke you have along with that hoagie and chips you had to get because you were running late in the morning because of the purple stain, so you couldn't pack you're own lunch anyway. Again don't worry, the frozen lunch you wanted to bring also had corn in it.

Farmers controlled by big corporations, are forced to use the corporations genetically modified seed. As for agriculture, big corporations feed their animals corn also. Although the yellow kern mil isn't great, it complies with the regulations for the slight health of animals. So, by default, your bacon and eggs have corn in them.
