​The Supreme Case I was assigned was Perry V. New Hampshire

The situation behind this case is that in an apartment building there was a hijacker that had been robbing cars for a while and one night an elderly woman looked outside of her window and saw a black man standing between cars talking to a police officer in the parking lot. The elderly woman, when questioned told police that he had been the man breaking into cars at night, when the elderly woman was asked to identify the man from an array of photos she could not do so and the only problem the Court agreed to look over was whether or not the absence of any police manipulation of that witness was reliable enough to bring before the jury to be used against the conviction of Barion Perry. 

The constitutional question in plain English  is “In a case should a court be required to exclude eyewitness identification evidence whenever the identification was made under circumstances that make the identification unreliable?”

            The Constitutional Provision involved in my case is The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. Which states that “No State shall ... deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” U.S. CONST. amend. XIV, § 1.

The Fourteenth Amendment is applicable to unreliable eyewitness identifications regardless of whether the identification was orchestrated by the police.

After the case was argued The Supreme Court decided that it wasn’t their job or place to decide whether or not the evidence in the case should be used and that the decision of permissible evidence would be left up to the jury. The conviction of Barion Perry still hasn’t been decided mainly because of the evidence debate. 

I’m not to sure how to predict the outcome of this case because it could go in either direction. I personally don’t believe this evidence should

Be used against Perry because I feel like the evidence is unreliable. The witness didn’t see Perry take anything and she was not able to identify him when she was asked. The conclusion of this case is strictly dependant upon the jury so at this point and time this could end either way.

Si yo estuviera en esta situación en realmente le diría a Pedro que paso entre Susana y su PRIMO.Ademas le mandaria una foto para que el mismo viera con sus propios ojos.No...no le diría nada a Susana después de lo que iso. Yo nunca quiero saber de ella por que destrozo el corazon de Pedro, Pedro no necesitaba este typo de conflicto en su vida.¡Pobrecito!

Después que yo llegaría a mi casa llamaría a Pedro y le contaria todo lo que paso. Si claro y absolutamente ayudaria a Pedro con este conflicto.Tambien le recomendaria a Pedro que nunca se ponga triste o disgustado por que solo es UNA chica insincera. Ay varias chicas en este mundo que arian Pedro muy feliz.Si viera la novia de mi mejor amigo besando a su primo iria lo mismo que ise con ambos Pedro y Susana.

​1) yo estaba en la situation que si la novia de mi amigo estaba besado a su prio yo le tomaria una foto de ella en las manos en la masa porque así si ella dice que no estaba besado a su primo tengo evidencia que si. 

2)yo no le diria algo que pero quando estoy hablando con ella yo tendría a pedro en speaker y aci el puedo oir lo que le estoy diciendo a su novia.

Si yo viera Susana besando con el primo de Pedro, me enfrentaría con Susana y le preguntaría a qué le pasa. Sí, trataría ayudar porque Pedro casí le pedir la mano de Susana y sería triste si rompieran. Susana debería hablar con Pedro y debería decirle  a Pedro que hizo. Y luego, si Pedro aceptara la disculpa de Susana, sacarían un descanso y casarían el próximo año. Yo, en su lugar, pasaría mucho tiempo para responder a Susana y si una persona engañara, yo estaría muy triste pero yo perdonaría a la persona. Si viera a la novia de me mejor amigo besando a su primo, yo haría la misma cosa que haría con Susana y Pedro.

Si estuviera en el situación, tomía un photo. Despues, enfrentaría con Susana y diría que ella es un persona muy malo y antipatico. Despues de esto, diría a Pedro que Susana es con su primo. Si Pedro no creiera que es la verdad, mostraría el photo. Si rompieran con Susana, yo ayudaría Pedro para encontrar una novia nuevo.

Si yo viera mi un novia de mi mejor amigo on uno otro persona, hablaría con Susana primero y hablaría con Pedro después.  Yo daría con Susana dice "¿Susana qué haciste? Yo querría un responden muy serio! Los cosas sería mejor si tu no tuviera con Pedro?" Cuando yo voy a hablar con Pedro yo diría "Tu novia estas una cerdo y comeria la cara de tú primo." Si Pedro no creyera mi, yo ensenaría una fotografia de su novia y primo. O un otro possiblidad para mi estaría no hablar porque no es asunto mío. Una promblema personalidad.

Si yo estaría en esta situacíon, yo tomaría algunos fótos para demonstrar a su novio Pedro. Yo hablaría con Susana, solo para decirle que va dar los fotos a Pedro, y que el quería casarla. Yo demostrará los fotos a Pedro, y decirle lo que paso. Yo no trataría de ayudar, porque no esta mi decisión. No recomendaría nada a Pedro, porque el necesita decidír para el mismo. Yo, en su lugar se deja a Susana porque ella se engaña con mi. Si viera la novia de mi mejor amigo besando a su primo yo llamaría a mi amigo y dicer lo que esta pasando.

Pues, por la perspectiva de Pedro,yo haría nada. Si el amo de Susana y Yo era falso, mi vida es muerto. Pedro es mi mejor amigo desde fueramos niños y yo pienso que el es diciendo la verdad. Despues de mi relaçíon, yo haría cambiar mi nombre a "El rey de carne" y movía a antartica. Yo sería triste, pero no porque de Susana, pero porque la muerte de mi penguino, Ronaldo. Yo diría pedro gracias, por todo. No habría con Susana porque ella sería preocupado con mi primo. Si la novia de pedro era besando un otro persona, yo haría decir pedro. Despues de esta drama, yo haría ser matar en Antartica por Lions del Mars. Despues de vida, yo seria muy triste porque yo no tengo ver Susana.

Science BM1: Food

​During the first half of this Science & Society class I have learned so much about food. In the beginning of the unit I remember learning about different food labels and terms. For example when we looked at what Mr. Best had for dinner one night and he ate a veggie burger, the labels listed on the box said that this product was all natural, no cholesterol, reduced sodium, low saturated fat, and has no trans fat. It was all about learning what these different terms meant. A different assignment that we did in the food unit was reading the organic food article. We learned more about organic food and how some of the articles can be seen as bias. Then we learned about the Food Inc., which really opened my eyes to everything. It showed how bad these conditions are for the animals and the people in the slaughterhouses were. I’ve learned so much about that movie such as how people could get arrested if they stole plant seeds and how they weren’t allowed to talk about what was going on cause they could go to jail. It was a very informative movie but also very sad to know what is actually going on in this food industry. Anther assignment we did in the unit opened my eyes to see which place was better to shop from. When we did the supermarket assignment I learned that the supermarket I go to has a lot of organic food for a cheap price then other places. A more recent thing that we learned about was the western diet reading that we did in class. We compared the western diet and having diabetes together. During the diabetes chapter we learned a lot of new terms and how they work. For example we learned that Type 1 (also called juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes) is caused by a lack of insulin and that Type 2 (also called adult-onset diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes) occurs when the body does not respond or can't use its own insulin (insulin resistance). Something else I learned was that gestational diabetes is the result of some hormonal changes that occur in all women during pregnancy. Another thing I learned was that glucose is a sugar that provides energy to all of the cells in your body. The chemical formula is to this is C6H12O6. My role in the larger food system is to buy food; at least that’s what I believe. The biggest problem in the food system is the conditions all of our food is going through for example the slaughterhouses. The animals and people are being mistreated. I could go a bit healthier buy going to organic food markets. The impact of these decisions would be that now I know what happens to my food before I get it, it makes me not want to eat it anymore. I am willing to make changes but it doesn’t happen over night so it will probably take some time.

Recipe and Analysis


Macaroni Salad 

Recipe:

Macaroni – Whole box
◦
Vegetable oil – 2 caps
◦ Salt – 1tbs.
◦
Butter – 1 TBSP.
◦
Parsley Pereil – a lil bit on your palm
◦
Turkey Ham – A Whole Slice Of Turkey Ham Cut Up
◦
Bacon Pieces: Bacon Flavored Bites – a lil bit on your palm
◦
Peas - Half Of A Can
◦
Dry White Cooking Wine – 4 Drops



Steps On How It Was Made:
   
1.    Stir macaroni into 6 cups boiling water
  
2.    1 tsp. of salt into the pot
   
3.    Boil rapidly 7 to 10 minuets or until macaroni is tender
  
4.    Drain the macaroni
   
5.    Put it into a bowl (or wherever you want to put it at)
   
6.    Grabbed 1 slice of turkey ham
   
7.    Sliced the ham into little boxes
   
8.    Put it into the salad
  
 9.    Pour 2 caps of vegetable oil
   
10.    1 TBSP. of butter
   
11.    Mix it up
   
12.    Pour some parsley into the bowl, doesn’t matter how much you pour but what I did was I shacked it once or twice so that it can have some type of taste to it
   
13.    Same with the bacon pieces, you can pour how much you want into your salad but I shacked it a little once or twice so that it can have flavor
   
14.    Pour half of a can of peas
   
15.    4 Drops of white wine
   
16.    MIX IT ALL UP & you’ll get a macaroni salad



Most of the Macaroni salad was very healthy for us. For example it had peas and turkey ham with Macaroni. A good 80 percent of the food was processed. Nothing was really made by us the ingredients were already made for us we just put it all together. When we calculated all of the calories it came up to be 273 calories with all the items. Our body would most likely get full with eating just this macaroni salad but that's if you had a lot, but usually this is like a side dish to go along with some rice and some sort of meat. There wouldn't be any issues with you eating this everyday, I'm just not sure you would want to eat this everyday cause it can get very annoying just eating mostly peas everyday. I said that because the salad mostly consists of peas. All the ingredients are from the USA. This salad would cost about $5.99 also adding all of the side ingredients. Kraft made money off of this meal because we used the Macroni from the Kraft Company and Green Giant also made money off of us as well since we used their companies’ peas. Those are the main items that we used for this salad.

 Diría a Pedro porque es su novia. El debe saber que su novia hace. Yo pienso que diría a Susana primero, y haría un trato con ella para mucho dinero, o iría a Pedro. El verdad es que diría a Pedro primer, porque el es mi mejor amigo.

No diría a ella cuando no es un trato, porque ella no es una novia buena.

diría a Pedro, porque el es mi mejor amigo y pienso que el diría a mi cuando eso paso a yo.

sararía los fotos porque es más verdad de solo diría

recomendaría que romper con ella.

querría que el diría a yo, porque es una cosa muy horrible.

llamaría a mi mejor amigo ese momento y diría el, porque es muy importante por su relación.

En esta situación, yo diría a Pedro que Susana no es bueno. También diría que ella besando al su primo. Yo tomaría un foto y mandaría un mensaje a Pedro. También yo trataría de ayudar Pedro y me enfrentaría a Susana y el primo de Pedro. Es importante a llamaría Pedro. Cuando viera la novia de mi mejor amigo con un otro hombre, me puede diría por que es necesario. Tomaría acción y mostraría el foto a Pedro.


Si estuviera en esta situación, querría a mi primer amigo a tomar fotos y mandarle un mensaje a me. Si Pedro supiera en su, el mataría Susana y el primo.

Situación: Tu mejor amiga Susanna es muy inteligente, pero Chica es muy loco, ella mentir en la todos tarea y es tener celos todos los personas! Chica no entenderse nadia. Y no apreciar amigos. Chica es antipática. Chica es no sensible, y ella es tacano!!!

En esta situación, primero fuera boquiabierto, luego caminaría hasta y un puñetazo la ella en su cara. Si tienes un novio que ama ti por qué herirías de el? Eso no tiene sentido. Ellos he estado juntos para dos años, no entiendo por qué rompería la corazón de él. No necesito para alguno palabras porque no es excusa para eso. Estaría muy enojado a la ella porque no solo es la ella haciendo trampa en mi mejor amigo, pero con su prima. Eso monstra ella tiene no respeto para Pedro, la misma, o su relación. Y despues eso contaría Pedro sobre y deja a hace desde allí.
