Love, Blood, Sweat, and Tears! Domestic Violence #1
Loving someone and being in a relationship can
be dangerous. You can have heartache, infidelity, and financial issues. Many
problems can occur, but the biggest danger in a relationship is Domestic
violence. I’m super interested in Domestic violence because Domestic violence
is an issue, and many people look over it and don’t care for the problem. Domestic violence can harm you physically and mentally;
it can harm you so bad, that you stay in the relationship. Some people get
addicted and get attached to the violence. Domestic violence can come from any
sex, male or female. Domestic violence is used to control your spouse or lover,
to dominate the relationship. The abuser likes to play mind tricks, and get you
really scared. They threaten you, break things, are super hostile, and very
aggressive. I don’t understand how you can love someone,
which harms you physically and emotionally. That hits you and insults you,
damages your feelings and makes you insecure. Someone that makes you bleeds
your own blood, and tastes your own tears. How come so many women and men stay
in the relationship? The abuser is the coward not the person being abused. The
abuser needs to harm someone to make them feel big about their self. The scariest part of it all is that people die
from domestic violence. People lose loved ones, they have heart attacks,
internal bleeding, stress level to high, and worst of all the abuser kills them
with there bare hands. If the abusers feel they are losing power in the
relationship. If I ever got abused I would be very distraught, to sit and go
through pain and suffering. To eat blood and tears everyday of my life, and to
live life with permanent Scars outer and inner body. Bibliography:
Rehab After Drugs and Alcohol [ The Longterm Save] pt. 2
Ok so after my research I
found out that people that smoke first hand are less likely to [pass] also people
that get second hand smoke seem to pass on average more than the person that is
smoking. I also researched alcohol, after drunk there are many
liquids inside you head filled with alcohol, I've watched videos of people
who had rehab after a car accident while drinking. When the person
went to the hospital they had alcohol in their head. It was very
scary :(.
Love, Blood, Sweat, and Tears! Domestic Violence #2
In the last blog I gave the basic information about domestic violence. I gave a summary about the types of domestic which are emotional violence, physical violence, and sexual violence. Domestic abuse is an epidemic in communities, cities, states, countries, and the world. One of the most un reported crimes in the world. Change sure will come, but this blog is about the numbers and statistics.
One in every four women will experience domestic violence on any type of level in her life times. 1 of every 30 men will experience domestic violence in his lifetime. 85% of the victims are usually women. 1 of every 6 women will be raped, and 1 of every 33 men will be raped. More women get sexually and physically abused, than men do. Most people get raped by their own partner or lover.
Domestic violence is serious and is an eye opener. Even though women are usually the main victims, gentlemen please be aware you can also be a victim. Domestic violence can end your life, give you emotional trauma, and harm you severely. You should go get help, not only is your partner or lover harming you but your harming yourself by staying. Domestic violence can be anywhere and sometimes people don’t even know when their partners are harming them emotionally. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS FAR FROM A GAME!
Cuts in the Budget 2.0
If the incarceration rate does go up it will also take more and more money away from schools because they will have to pay for the students that are now in jail. This cycle will continue unless they fix this law and prevent these budget cuts to the school districts.

Cuts in the Budget
There is money for the districts but instead of putting the money toward us they put it toward building more jails. This is because it costs the school district close to $4000 per child, and it costs only $3500 to keep a prisoner incarcerated.
Their reasoning for cutting the money is simple. They say that we have been over funded for the past couple of years and we are just being returned to our normal funding.
I wonder if all school districts are going through the same thing or if it has been mismanaged. I will research other states budget cuts and see if they cut education as much as they did in Philadelphia

Dear SLA Teaching Professionals,
Though I applaud your determination to see your students reach their full potential, be the best they can be, and other hallmark card appropriate phrases, I request that you please stop telling my parents of my work habits. They are wonderful people who, sadly, birthed a horrible first child. Se la vie. But let us do what we can to keep their knowledge of me small and carefully monitored, ensuring their dispositions remain forever sunny.
In order for this goal to be met dear teachers, I ask of you but one thing: squash down that perfunctory need to involve my adult caretakers any and every time and instead treat yourself to a pastry of some sort, allowing each calorie to remind you that you have just done a great service by simply turning the other cheek. (Perhaps you may even find a way to write the pastry purchase off as charitable giving.) Please ruminate upon my recommendation.
On one final note before you make you decision, I ask that you consider this: within you lies the power to protect the well-being of two extraordinary people. This pair may, nay will in turn rescue other sensational souls and so on and so forth until one day you wake up to a world born anew in all that is good and grand. A world you helped create with but a few moments of well-timed silence.

Gay rights moving faster than civil right?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I recently read an article called " A tipping point for Gay marriage". In the beginning a statement was made of a scenario where an client gets fired for having a very strong opinion. However, this was a true scenario when a client wanted to defend same sex marriage, however the law firm said that it wouldn't go against federal law, the constitution. This incident has Gay Rights activist speaking up louder than ever. The great thing that came out of this incident was that it reached to people in power. THAT WAS THE GOAL. People recognized that the law firm was wrong.
At the end of this article the statement was made "those turning points still have a ways to go. I certainly can see that day coming. Compared with the civil rights movement for African-Americans, the movement for gay rights has proceeded with a remarkable degree of speed." I am happy to see this statement. I think that when the Civil rights movement was going on , people were WAY more stubborn, for lack of a better word. The fact that the Gay Rights movement can be seen is remarkable. It is finally shown that they should have the same rights as everyone else.

Kitties.
