Three friends at SLA find themselves in the basement. They can tell that no one has been down there for a long time... at least, they think so. A "horror" movie with some funny moments.

This school year has been a wonderful
experience for me I have learned a lot of things. I've also begun to better
understand different morals or saying people live by. One thing I started to
understand is even though we have our freedom to do as we please. If people
tried to do what they are suppose to do, when others aren't watching then it
would help make their lives easier. I came to that realization during aninterviewwith my father.
Although
sometimes society gives people so much leeway to do as they please. Re-guarding
what is right. They began to over use the right of freedom. Which causes the
higher power to step into doing as they please no matter what the affect is on
those around. Just like in the book Night we read in class the young boy
Eliezer Wiesel who was deeply affect by the Holocaust due to the recognized
higher authority of Hitler an his men. I wrote anacademic paperdemonstrating
how is has affected him and the way he became.
That
also reminds me about the monologue assignment we had. Taken history and
bringing it back to life. Trying to show that even thought history tends to
heavily repeat its self that are some aspects of it that people just might not
know or fully understand. In my story I was telling how the higher authority
has affect a community.
My
favorite unit was the poetry. Just like any other form of writing it is a way
to express the mind. I made a poem portfolio an in it I have five poems.
I started to understand that you do not have to be an expert in a certain field
to be able to accomplish the work. I love poetry and I like to write it, but
when some people who feel the same way encounter another who might have a
stronger way of expressing than they do. The thought of not being an expert
really became a heavy thought.
Besides
my liking of the poetry unit I was also fond of was the Op-Edon child
abuse. What was so interesting about this assignment was what ever we chose to
write about, we had to have a strong point and sort of give the story. The
topic of child abuse crossed my mind because it is something that is often no
touched. While I wrote it I felt like I was giving an article a voice and a
purpose. In my mind it was not only a piece a writing that was needed for class
it became a possible end to the problem for the younger generation.
When
I started this year it seemed as if it would be hard and the things the class
were going to learned would be overwhelming.
Some
of the assignments and assignment reading over this year had make me have the
general understand that every piece of writing made will not always make sense
or come together.But it will
always have a meaning and purpose.
My project is a video storybook of me being a child till present day, then to the future. It has photos of me from when I was growing up, featuring activities, people, and various other things that I enjoyed and some things I didn't enjoy. It shows photos of myself in current day, during the present day section. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of me from the future, so those I had to find, which are a compilation of various photos that go with how I will be in 5 and 10 years. This project was by far more most favorite benchmark. It was all about myself. Hah. It involved me when I was a little one, me now, and me in the future. The best part to me was taking the photos from me when I was younger. Finding them, and scanning them was such a joy for me. If I were to do this project again, i'd most likely make it into a physical book, and try to stay away from digital a bit.
My project is like a little kids biography of my life. There are no real pictures of me in the book it is all doodles. The one of me younger are little anime me and when I get older the cartoon becomes a bit more realistic. In the future my face is covered by a question mark. I like that the pictures are all different it looks like I am changing over time the art is changing. I wish I had made an amazing story instead of just simple stuff but I like it for the most part.
For the 4th quarter we were asked to complete multiple piecies of art work. Some include a bicycle upside down drawling, area shading of a bicycle, and creating a sculpture for the sculpture I decided to create an xylophone. Below are picture of my pieces of art
1. What is your project? My project is a six page scrapbook describing myself from the past, present and the future. I used pictures of myself and people who I care a lot about. I described my likes, dislikes, routine, personality, and traits all in the Spanish language. 2. What do you like about it? I really like how creative and colorful my project is. I also liked the outcome of it because the grammar is all correct and makes sense. 3. What would you do differently? If I could redo this project, I would take the time to include and congregate more verbs and use more description.
What went well was the final product that was put out and the actual amount of information it displayed and how nice the pictures looks and the organization of it all. What did not work was the process we spent a bunch of time trying too get the information our group assembled together. Miscommunications between group members was a bit of a problem but in the end we game through. Next time i would have better group communication.

My project is a quiz based on three stories that you will read based on my childhood, the present and my future. Each question you get correct will advance you to the next question, and each incorrect answer will give a pretty little surprise. I like that my project is fun and amusing for the audience, but it is also informative. If I redid this project, I would add maybe a voiceover of me reading it and record the incorrect slide.
My element is palladium. My element is used for jewelry but mostly rings. It is also used for surgical tools. For the print I used Athena's shield, helmet, and spear. I used this because the element is named after Pallas(Athena). I thought it would be cool to have it showing the armor instead of trying to have a person. First thing I did was to sketch out different ideas. I had an asteroid and a ring for the other two suggestions. Then we traced the drawing backwards on the linoleum plate. With a cutter we cut out all of the negative space. For to print it we took a roller and rolled different color inks on the block. After that we took paper and rubbed it over the block and took it off. I really liked this project. It was interesting. I think that my final product came out pretty good. I like how the shield and spear turned out. I would do a better job cutting it out if I would do it again.
My element is Bromine. My element is mainly used for lightweight bodies of missiles and aircraft, basically tools of war. Since my element is used for missiles, i decided to use that. It was easy to do and it was the first thing that came to me. My initial idea was much too detailed to cut from the linoleum tile. I had to make it simpler and more bold, in that there couldn't be many thin lines. It was definitely an interesting project that i have never done before. I would like to do it again. If i did it again, I would choose a picture that better reflects my project.
My element was krypton.
It is highly conductive and it glows bright weight so its used in lights.
I saw on a Wikipedia page that it was named krypton because of the Greek word for the hiding one.
I made it on paper traced it on to tracing paper then onto the linoleum blocks then cut it and paint on to the paper.
I think i did good on it could have been better but I'm happy with it.
I would use different collars and make a different picture.
My project was an imovie. I like making the imovie because i had complete control .I was about to do a children's book , but my mother said i couldn't cut up my photos or glue it to paper. I would want to do a children's book in the future. Next time I would do a voice over instead of just putting music. I would also maybe add a video of me and described myself in more words.
My element is Ruthenium. It is used to strengthen metals and protect them from corrosion. That is how I came up with a shield as an idea. It "shields" metals from corrosion. We came up with ideas for our element drawing. Drew it on tracing paper. Put on linoleum squares, backwards. Painted them. Put it on paper, and came out forward. It was done. Well if you wanted background paper, then you're done. My thoughts were the project was difficult at first, but was then easy. The hardest thing was coming up with an idea in the first place. The easiest thing was everything else once I came up with the idea.
Alisha Clark Alisha's design was interesting. As a matter fact, it wasn't a design I was expecting.
The element I did my print project is Sn, or Tin. My element is used in
can sodas, tin foils, tin cans and other canned goods are normally made
of tin. Which makes it a very resourceful item. I came up with the idea
for my tin because the tin man is very popular, he is also made of tin,
so the element would be obvious. I think that my my final product
was well done and it looks neat enough to be hung. I used negative and
positive space in a good way to make the print more prominent. If I had
to do this project again, I would have to change the colors to make the
print prettier.

1. Negative space is the space in between the actual object at the background. 2. The negative space in my cut out could have been either the house or the background. I used the background in stool drawing as the positive space, and made the stool's outline the negative space. 3. Negative space allows you to show something without actually drawing it. 4. You can see more then just what the artist directly drew.
For my project i made a scrap book called going through the years. within the pages of my scrap book i have pictiures of me of all ages, making all types of faces. at first i thought the project would be hard but it wasnt, it was actually quite fun and i look forward to making future books. this by far was my favorite scrapbook this year.
My elements name is Cerium. Cerium is used to make glass lamps and stained glass. I was looking for something to make make a print. I was looking up what it was
named for and what the uses are and I found that it was used for stained glass so
I thought it would be cool to make it stained glass. I found and idea, them I sketched
it out on paper. I then sketched it out on trace paper and I copied it on to the linoleum , then i carved it out with a handle. And I rolled the ink and pressed it down on the paper. After it dried I did the same thing three more time. I think that it when well. The only thing that I would do differently is have had my trace in a safer place.
My element is Nickel. Nickel is used for alloys, steel and jewelry. The reason why I choose to have my print the way it is , is because Nickel comes from the word Kupfernickel. Which means " Old Nick's Cooper" and Old Nick is devil. So I thought it
would be neat to have devil horns inside of the world since he lives in hell. I added smoke because it's supposed to represent how hot hell is. And I just had Old Nick on the top and Ni and it's atomic number underneath it. It didn't start from this one idea, I had many more but I decided that this one was the best out of them all. I think this was a really project. I was fun and easy. I learned about negative and positive space. Even though in the beginning it was really hard but by the end it was really easy. I would try to be more in deft about my drawing. I would want to change some things like instead of having the earth just a semicircle it'll actually look like an earth. I would also change just having devil horns and put he's whole head. Other then that I think it was pretty good.
My project was all
about me and what I used to be like as a baby and what I am like now. Compared
to what I want to do when I grow up. I made a storybook because I thought that
was the best way to get my creativeness out there. I also think that this was
the best way to describe and show what I can do.
What did you like
about it?
I liked that this was
a very free project and that it was individual. I liked that I didn’t have to
rely on anyone for anything and I could do whatever I wanted with my project. I
also liked that we had many options on what direction to go and what to do with
this project.
What would you do
differently?
I would use more
personal pictures and drawn less.
For my project, I made a little movie speaking about my past, present, and future. I like the pictures, and music I added to the movie. I think that if I could do anything differently, I would add more information to the movie. All in all, I enjoyed putting together this video.
