q2 bm reflection

I went about reading and choosing ones that I thought i related to the most. It was harder doing the court case ones, because some times it wouldnt relate to you at all. There was a lot of reading involved with this. And picking the right ones really was more difficult. i basically went through all the aspects of my life and picked the ones that matched with something in common or had to do anything with that thing that i picked from my life.
I think that it was more difficult than i thought because having the thing relate to you really had to be spot on. Making sure that you picked the right one was the hardest part. There was a lot that i didnt expect like typing something up and  then realizing that there was no connection even though i thought there might have been and you had to go and find a better example. 
When i turned 18 it felt alot different because  i thought that the govt. was more in my life; i am able to get arrested, and i have to sign up for the draft. Just thinking of those 2 small things is scary. There are not a lot of things however when you are younger, but as you get older you worry more and more about them.

I learned that there is way more in the govt. that effects my every day life. In positive and negative ways. there is a lot now that i realize effects me that i never knew before.

Eran las dos en la mañana. Eran muy oscuro. Solamente la luna y estrellas en la cielo. La luna y estrellas es solo cosas que hizo la luz. Un gatito fue a la tienda a través de la ventana. La gatito usan la cabeza a romper la ventana. Cuando la gatito entre la tienda, fue a la parte posterior en la tienda que donde mucho extra cosas. La gatito tome un cuadro y pone much comida. Tomaste la comida pero un raton tome la comida. La gatito salio la tienda con no comida. :[

Q2 Benchmark Reflection

To choose which laws, Supreme Court cases and functions of the government I would focus on for my benchmark, I thought about what my current situation, and also which laws will have an effect on me later in life. For example, I wrote about the healthcare law. One aspect of the healthcare law that is important to me is the fact that I am eligible to stay on my mom's healthcare until I am 26. Rather than focusing on working to afford my healthcare in college, I can focus on my school work.
Selecting my topics was a fairly difficult process. It was difficult to find relative laws and cases that are applicable to my life. The older I get, the way the government is involved in my life changes - it's hard to say whether or not they are more involved because it is involved in different ways. Up until the age of 18, the government can force you to go to school, and they have passed laws recently regulating what I can eat in schools. Before 18 they are trying to protect you. After 18 their primary interest is the rest of the country. They take more taxes to help provide for people who are less fortunate, and they require to do things such as register for selective service in the need of a draft.
