Mario to the Castle

The plumber trudged up the long twisting driveway towards the looming mansion. This was exhausting. It felt like he was called up to fix this lady's problems every single day! He had better things to do. He had family; brothers, cousins, more brothers. He had a pet whose eggs would go bad if they weren't harvested in a timely fashion. He had little mushroom friends. But this wouldn't stop Mario. He had to help the Princess Peach.

La Rutina De Sophia Henninger

What did you learn from doing this project? (skills, life lessons, words etc)

This project helped me learn and remember the vocabulary better then I usually do. Also it reminded me that not all words are conjugated the same and it reminded me which ones change and which don't.

How do you feel about your final product?

I like my project. I think it's well done.

If you could do your project all over again, what would you do differently/the same?

I just would have used my time better and handed it in on time.

Did you enjoy this project? Why or why not?

I did enjoy it because it allowed us to be creative like we could do a boring video with everything it needed or we could have made it funny or silly. It didn't matter.

Mi Rutina Diaria

So this is my daily routine. It was a very long process but I did it. By doing this project, the video did help me learn how to conjugate without hesitating.
One thing that I didn't involve in my video was eating. I wish I added that in. Other than that, I think my project was awesome. I put in a lot of work. I like how my video was flowing and my music went a long with it.

Another Baseball Story

Panic was racing through everyone’s mind. There was no way we could blow this. All I could do was watch at first base as the trusted pitcher delivered pitch after pitch outside of the strike zone.

Let me rewind – It was the championship game. The series was tied 1-1 in a best of three match. We were the underdogs, by far. The only reason we even made it to the playoffs was because there was no elimination in little league, an attempt to promote fairness, I guess. We already shocked everyone by beating the Athletics once. With our backs on the wall, we were able scrounger up a big inning. The score was 7-3.  All of a sudden, our pitcher started acting uncharacteristically, walking several people in a row and giving up big hits. The fielders started to get uneasy as the score was creeping up on us. It was now 7-6 with the bases loaded and the count 3-0, the coach walked out to the mound, and signaled for a pitching change. He was calling for me. I threw my warm up pitches and prepared for the most unnerving baseball experience of my life. I immediately threw two pitches for strikes, knowing that if I missed, we would lose the game. He then proceeded to foul off the next couple of pitches. I prepared for the next pitch. I winded up. SWING AND A MISS.

--From this point, it's all sort of blurry. My teammates came racing in and bombarded me at the pitchers mound. We were awarded our championship trophies and were left with an experience we would never forget, being the underdogs the entire season, coming back to beat the beast team in the league.

What is love?

Baby just hurt meeeeee, just hurt meeeeee, comon.
Baby just hurt meeeee, just hurt meeeee, come on!
Na na nanana na na nanana na na nanana NA
WHAT IS LOVVVE
Baby hurt meeeee, she hurt meeee, come on!

I BREAK IT DOWN NOW, BUJIGABUJIGA EY EY EY BUJIGABUJIGA EYEYEY.

Why One Ought Not Play With Their Food

I poured a bag of skittles into a jar, turned out all the lights in the room excepting the flashlight I had placed underneath said jar, and stared at the delicious rainbow candies within. I then moved the jar about until the skittles formed a mountain and gazed upon this little world under the bright light of its false sun. I imagined myself inside jar. I imagined myself inhabiting that simple world. I imagined while in this place, I climbed the malnutritous mound of skittles. I had looked haggard and hungry during this expedition, comically so when considering the location. I climbed with fervor, deciding the petite me in the jar had long stared at this mountain. It had haunted me, forever looming above, keeping a secret knowledge at it peak. Anywho, as I mentioned before: I climbed until the peak and I were but yards apart. Feet. Inches. I took my final step and stood atop, looking out through the glass of the jar to see me, in my present 5'6'' form, staring down at my petite me's world with a giddy curiosity. My petite me yelled "Atlas!". Both 'me's laughed heartily. I than hastily shut off the flashlight, turned back on the lights I had earlier turned off, and repressed the terribly unpleasant thoughts that arose as I ate little me's scrumptious mountain.

GO HERE FOR VIDEO (:

During the process of this experiment, I learned how to conjugate and actually remember words more easily. With new vocabulary, I tend to forget the words right after the unit is complete. But with this assignment I was able to think back to the beginning of everything we learned.

I am somewhat proud of my completed assignment. Due to a few obstacles, I was unable to film part of my evening routine. I think I did pretty well not showing those things, although they were big parts like dinner, showering, and putting on pajamas.

If I were to do this over again, I would work at a pace because when we were told that the due date would be a week later, I thought I was pretty far ahead and I could hold it off. Big mistake because of the short week and everything just slipped my mind. I would pace myself and be able to turn it in on time.

I did enjoy this project. It's a very creative way to show that we learned something and be able to have some fun with it.

a note to self

tumblr_lgauvavKeP1qa4th6o1_500whatever a person wants to do , they should do it . you should not stop because of what others think. people are going to judge you until the day you die. if you truly think about it, there is no way you can be mentally, physically, or emotionally happy -to your full potential unless you live for YOURSELF. Its pointless to say ” dont judge me” or “dont judge me unless you know me”  its literally pointless! People will judge you NO MATTER WHAT, its apart of life. Your mother judges you, your father, your sister, your friend, boyfriend, girlfriend and so on. EVERYONE JUDGES YOU. even GOD himself. They may not hold you accountable, they may understand more than others and accept what you do but  WE as HUMANS JUDGE. And if they dont accept you , its fine. You dont need acceptance. Acceptance is something that the world uses as fuel. It may  very well push you, but it wont keep you up. At any time , anything and anyone can deny you. if you were born on your own , you can think on your own, be on your own, and be your own person. live for your own goddamn self.  and if they dont like it , ....then what do you and i do ?

Inside his head

Every night during dinner, my brother tells us jokes that occurred to him at school.  I swear he has a running narrative in that head of his, but that's a story for another night.  My dad bought him a watch for his birthday last week and asked him if he was enjoying wearing it.

"Yea, it was great in class today!"
"What happened?"
"Well my teachers are always running into lunch, so today when my math teacher asked, 'What's 34 divided by 2', I looked at my wrist and thought, It's 5 past 12.  Can we go now?

At least his jokes stay inside his head.

Right Place at the Right time :)

On my way home from school, I was waiting for the sub. After about 5 mins, it came and my car was pretty empty. I was standing right behind a little girl, so I thought I would get my favorite seat. The one facing outward, going the direction of the train. Anyway, right before I could get my seat the little girl in front of me and her mom took my seat. I was so angry so I got I sat in the seat behind them. When I looked down in the seat, to make sure I didn't sit in anything, and there it was! Sitting right in the crack of the seat in the wall was $5! I picked it up and found $2 inside! Just my luck, thanks to the little girl taking my favorite seat I found $7!
