Quarter 2 Reflection 1


Santana anuncia álbum de colaboraciones con estrellas latinas

Carlos Santana, un músico de México, quien tiene diez Grammy premios, se anuncia que él será lanzar un álbum nueva, se llama “Corazon” o “Heart” en enero del año dos mil catorce. Santana está muy emocionado para este álbum porque es colaborativo y hay muchas musicos otras que le ayudaron hacerlo. Ademas, el álbum incluye muchas géneros de la música diferentes. Unos de estos son pop, rock, salsa, y bachata. Este enseña su amor por su herencia.  Este disco va a apelar a muchos personas.  El álbum no va a ser en soló el formato de disco.  HBO Latino y HBO Latin America van a transmitir en televisión en el primavera.  Despues, va a ser un DVD.


Santana indicó que este álbum es la vez primero cuando que él hablé con Dios antes de tomar decisiones. “Yo sigo a Dios y él me dice cuándo y dónde (hacer las cosas). Le obedezco.”  

También dijo que él habla con Dios y tiene mucha claridad en sus decisiones.


Para celebrar el lanzamiento de su album nuevo, Santana también pensó un concierto en el   

catorce de diciembre que viene, en Jalitos, Mexico, su pais original. El concierto se llama

“Heart. Live from Mexico, live it to believe it.”. El concierto va a empezar un gira alrededor de

Mexico para celebrar.


Las expectativas son altas, y Santana tiene grandes esperanzas. No era facil para Santana y su grupo. Santana dijo que escribiendo el album fue muy dificil, y “Si no lo conseguimos, no habremos tenido éxito.” El tiene un reputacion para satisfacer, y el no quiere decepcionar sus fanaticos, y el misma.


Vamos a ver que va a ocurrir.

Home Network Drawing

For this project, we were instructed to draw our home network.  We had to include our Internet Service Provider (I.S.P.), our modem, what type of wire we use, and all of the electronic devices that require internet connection to be used.  Some things I included are laptops, my printer, my Wii, and my family's smart phones and iPods.  Through this project, I learned how my internet is connected throughout my house, and how my home network works.  I really liked how I was able to see how many devices are actually connected to the internet in my home.  I wonder what my classmates' home networks look like in comparison to mine.  This project was very interesting and I enjoyed taking part in it!

Estrellas de Hollywood hacen campaña ambiental



La cosa primero que tuvo mi atención es cuando yo ví el nombre: Leonardo DiCaprio en el artículo. En este artículo, bien, el título habla por sí mismo. Es sobre estrellas quien hacen una campaña ambiental. ¡Leonardo DiCaprio es mi actor favorito, me encanta mucho! No me gusta Leonardo DiCaprio soló por que de su bien habilidades de actuación, pero también porque él tiene un mente muy inteligente y  interesante y un corazón generoso.

En este artículo, Leonardo DiCaprio dijo, “Todo el mundo sabe que dependemos del petróleo extranjero que compramos en países que no comparten nuestros valores, países que matan a nuestros soldados ”. Esta declaración es más cierto de otros hechos sobre la relación entre los Estados Unidos y aceite. Para mi, es ridículo tomar algo de países que nosotros luchamos. Aunque necesitamos aceite, necesitamos hacer uno o la otro. No podemos ir a la guerra Y usar sus recursos. Hay que respetar la decisión de países que no estan de acuerdo, pero usar el uno del otro no tiene sentido.

Leonardo DiCaprio es aparte de muchos organizaciones de ambiental como: World Wildlife Fund. Desde él estaba muy joven, él tuvo un amor muy grande para animales. En Twitter, él “tweets” nada pero noticias sobre salvando animales que son actualmente sufrimiento o son en peligro porque de humanos. Yo pienso que su dedicación es súper admirable y inspirador. No me gusta protestar o servir en campaña, pero Leonardo DiCaprio y sus tweets me inspiran hacer algo sobre los animales. Todos los tiempos que mi mamá compra líquido de lavado del plato, le pido comprar la SAVE WILD LIFE detergente.

Este ejemplo ilustra como estrellas puede inspirar la gente ser activo en compaña ambientales en sus maneras propias.

Home Network

This photo is a picture of my home networking system. As you can see, it contains- different cell phones, iPad's, home phones, a computer, a Wii, a printer, and speakers. My families ISP, or Internet Service Provider, is Comcast. In Tech class, we learned about the differences between the internet and the world wide web. The internet is the controller of everything. It's a network consisting of a worldwide network that all computers use. The world wide web is information on the Internet that allows different links to be connected. We made these diagrams to show the different things in our homes that need internet in order to function.

Howard es Multado por lanzar balón:


Este artículo se trata de un jugador de baloncesto llamada Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard jugo por el equipo de Los Rockets. Un equipo va a el play-offs, yo pienso Dwight Howard es un jugador este ayuda Los Rockets a el play-offs. Pero en este artículo Dwight Howard era multado por que él lanzó un baloncesto en la multitud. Esta acción hizo él pagó 25 mil dolares a NBA. Pero él tenía 33 puntos y 11 rebotes. Howard hizo este falta hizo Los Mavericks acercar dos puntos y hizo marcado 116-112. Los Mavericks impuso el juego con el marcado de 123-120. Yo pienso Howard no tenía derechos a lanzó un baloncesto en la multitud. Yo pienso él no se bebe jugar un juego por que él tiene ira y él tiene que tomar un descanso de jugo baloncesto.  El vocabulario que yo aprendí en el artículo es multado. Multado es una parábola este medio él o ella tenía a pagar dolares. Yo encontrado la palabra en esta sentencia en el artículo. “Dwight Howard, pivote de los Rockets de Houston, fue multado con 25.000 dólares por lanzar el balón a las tribunas cerca del final del partido que perdieron en Dallas.” (Fox Deportes)

Home Network For technology Class

 This project is showing a image of a drawling about what home network looks like during tech. Then we had to convert our drawling from paper to a digital copy form using the lucid chart app. I really enjoy doing this project because it was a new way to incorporate technology into learning about home network which was awesome. Our home network image was based on the cloud which is the internet. Then the arrows which are the wires in your household that provide connection through your router into your modem. Then the wifi that connects all the other devices to the internet.

    In this image of my internet at home, it shows my internet source provider is Comcast. I have a wireless router the allows us to have WiFi. The wireless router also connects to my desktop computer and my printer. Because of the wireless router we can use our laptops and phones because they don't plug into anything. I made this lucid chart to show how my home works with the internet.

In tech class we had to make a visual representation of what our homes network looked like. I included the wifi devices and including where the internet comes into the house. I feel like we need to learn about this because one day when we're older we're going to have to learn about this and set it up. It's better to learn now so once we're at the point when were setting up our Homes network, we will know what to do.

​home networkI enjoyed this project because I got to show how creative I can get with technology. Now I think i know a little bit more of the different net works. I think that this project could have been a bit more difficult because I like to challenge myself with hard things. I enjoy learn about technology because then later in life I can use the skills that I had in high school to the newer technology.

  Hoy es el 50 aniversario de la muerte del presidente 53 a de América,  Senor John Fitzgerald Kennedy. John Kennedy fue el primer presidente estadounidense en reconocer la importancia de los votos de la gente de todas las razas. Él apoyó los derechos de las personas hispanas, negras y asiáticas. Cuando fue candidato a la presidencia, ganó 85% de los votos del mexicano-americano. Reconocimiento de Kennedy sobre la importancia del voto hispano americano ocurrió 15 horas antes de ser asesinado. Tanto él como su esposa, Jackie Kennedy, apoyó firmemente los derechos civiles y equaltity votación para todos en Estados Unidos. Los historiadores y otras personas que estudian Kennedy piensa que su apoyo a los derechos civiles provocó algo en otros líderes. Muchas personas se unieron al presidente para asegurar que todos los estadounidenses tiene el mismo peso en la que era el líder estadounidense. El Presidente Kennedy fue también el presidente que desafió científicos estadounidenses para llegar a la Luna antes del final de los años sesenta. Kennedy fue un presidente liberal que se movió América adelante en áreas pueden. Mucha gente le gusta Kennedy en el cargo y que estaban muy tristes cuando fue asesinado. Kennedy era joven cuando murió y mucha gente pensó que tenía el potencial de hacer mucho por América.

Home Network  ​This project is showing a picture we had to draw for Technology class. We had to draw a picture of our home network and later draw the same picture on the app Lucid Chart. According to Wikipedia the definition of a home network is  "A home network or home area network is a type of local area network that develops from the need to facilitate communication and interoperability among digital devices present inside or within the close vicinity of a home." My definition of a home network is all of the electronic devices in your home that run on your home wifi. This project taught me what a home network is and what's supposed to go on a home network , i feel that i learned a lot about the word home network in technology class.

My internet starts out by coming through my dinning room from Xfinity. Then we have another box that connects to the computer. We all have a phone or laptop on the box so it's connected to the wireless that's why I have the signs over six items. We created this project to show how our own internet is connected at home also to show how internet works in general. We need to know how our internet works so we could describe our internet. Also to know how internet works, this is why we made this diagram.

My internet in my household

Okay so in this chart it shows how my internet works through out my house. First we have the "internet cloud", then we have the internet service provider (ISP) which is Verizon. This Verizon ISP is connected on the third floor of my house. This is where my wireless rotter is. This rotter is then directly connected to my dads desktop where he does his work. This rotter is also then connected to the printer. Then on some days my mom will directly connect her work computer to the rotter. Although we have things directly connected to the wireless rotter there is also things that just use WIFI. We have two laptops and to smart phones that use Wifi. This is how the internet is used in my household.

           Ispdrawling (1)   This project was about learning the internet and how it works.This project was showing all our internet connects that we use without even knowing it. Everyone got to go home and search their provider and what is connected to it. We learned the rules and how we can use it without getting cought or even a virus. I think doing this project was really cool because we get to see what we have for our internet but if we did not do this project I would not even have look at these things in my house.

The goal was to help us understand what the internet actually is and where the codes go to bring you the information you need. The next part of the unit was understanding Acceptable Use Policies. We read both the SLA AUP as well as the SDP AUP so we could further understand what acceptable internet use looks like.

I learned about networking and how to be safe with the Internet. I also learned about the acceptable use policy for the school district and S.L.A. I now understand how my Home Network runs through all of the devices in my home. I also learned about cyberspace and the process that information goes through when you send someone an email. It gets packaged, then codes itself and goes through a whole process of security checks. These security checks are a bit like the ones we go through at an airport. When a file is not allowed to go through it gets destroyed. There are many firewalls that information has to pass through. For this project I had to create a Lucid Chart of my Home Networking system. I showed where each device was in my house and how they were connected. All of the devices are connected to a wireless modem. My server is Comcast so I have an Coax cable. This is a chart that I made, it demonstrates all of the devices in my home and how they are connected. I made this chart because it helped me understand how my network works. In this chart you can see that for each room devices are listed and the arrows show that they are all connected to a netgear Modem which lets the devices run on a wireless network.

This project helped me see how my electronic devices really work. Before, I knew nothing about how these devices were working and what helped them work. For all I new they could have been working "magically". But now I know there are different wires and connections that have the internet work and the device alone to power on. We also learned about the application Lucid chart which we used to create our internet connection document. Now we have more knowledge on the different programs that we have access to on the SLA website.

In the first quarter of Tech, Ms.Hull taught us a great deal about the concept of the Internet.We learned the difference between SLA AUP and PSD AUP.We also Learned about how we are able to get the internet and how it operates the electronic devices we own.This diagram below shows  how my Internet enters my house and  connects to my electronic devices in my house.This activity was very fun.  I never really thought about how my tablet allows me to get on the internet.I just knew I was on, now I know the reasoning behind it.

MY INTERNET AUP

During the first marking period in Tech. we learned about the internet and how mistakes people made on the internet. SLA internet policy is more reasonable than The School District. They have some similarity like no porn, no downloading, no personal files, but I believe SLA gives you more freedom to expand our work to the world than the School District. As we learned about the internet policy we also read a book called "LOL OMG". The book is about mistake people made on the internet and how it effected their personal lives. The book teaches us to be more careful on what we say on the internet. This lesson is for us to figure stuff out and to learn more about our internet and where it comes from. Overall I learned to be more careful on the internet and to think twice before we post.

This quarter we learned many things, from how our internet works to the School districts AUP. The districts AUP was very specific in what we can and can not do. There are big consequences if you are caught violating these rules. We learned a little bit on how some computers communicate in 1's and 0's. I had a god time reading about idiots on the internet. Now we all know to be more careful.

My Home Network

​ During the first quarter of Tech, we first drew a diagram of how the internet works in our home. From there, Ms.Hull taught us the rules of SLA's and the school district's acceptable use policy and we looked at the similarities and differences between the two. We read a book about the dangers of the internet, and how to use it in a positive way. Here is a diagram of how the internet travels through my home. It was frustrating to create at first, but in the end, I got it completed.
